The channel's women empowerment is only at a surface level. Concept wise they may make it seem like they're being hella progressive but if you take a closer look, they're anything but.

Ek and Gul are fantastic in making their shows look aesthetically beautiful. But it's all so superficial and fake. Once you start looking at the things that actually matter like the characters, plot lines etc. they're all horrible.

With IMMJ2, again, they have had so much potential no matter what track they have shown. But they all failed for some reason or another. Even now when they have shifted over to OTT, I appreciate the freedom that the characters have gotten. It feels like there's more dimension to them. The one thing they still need to work on though is the pacing. Everything feels way too fast and the tension isn't building up right. Riddhu's changed behavior and her stealing the diamonds for example, could have been prolonged for a few days so that even the audience can start suspecting her. But they're moving from one thing to the next as if they're competing with a bullet train. They need to calm down a little and let the audience breathe. In just today's episode alone so much happened ki process karne ke liye bhi itna time nahi mil ra.

But on TV they try to put characters in a box and try to convert every serial like the one jo top par ja rha hota...

And also I believe crisp limited no of tracks hoty...

Start to end pre decided...

But ab jo OTT bhi dikha rhy it's good jo updates parh k lag rha..

Initial 50 60 epi k bad yhi dikha dety to kya bnta...

Ab us trah say connect nhin ho parha

But chlo atleast actors have something good to do now

And kuch creative liberty bhi hai...

Hope they make a good use of it

Sony ke bhi apne issues hai. I feel like Sony isn't that good with promoting its shows no matter how good they are.

Yeahh. I think it would have done even better if it had followed the western formula of airing one hour once a week with a limited number of episodes. The story would have been super tight, plus the writers would have been forced to make every single second count. The characters would have had an obvious arc and each track would have kept the viewers excited to come in for more.

I agree. At least other actors are getting the opportunity to do / be more than whatever the hell they were on ITV. I'm especially happy for Aryan. Sirf thappad khaane se promotion mil gayi usse. Plus, ab Daadi bhi usse bhav de rahi hai. 🤣
