I've always thought the hate marriage (aka the element of force) would be from Ranbir's side.

H-e-d's line of thinking that it would be more of a "maang mein sindoor bharna" marriage type from Ranbir is also what I feel right now.

If Prachi continues on her thoughts of "this Ranbir is not the Ranbir I knew and loved" (the one she mouthed to Shahana), don't think she'll sit in the mandap willingly, even if Rhea reneged on her promise. Unless of course, her idea is to give a big F U to Rhea, and Ranbir is the means to that end!

Prachi won’t take her place. If she can accept the MMS over her self respect, then she won’t ever do that .

Plus, it’s already tried and tested with Kundali. Doubt the writers will write this again. Also, in Kundali, Mahira was pure evil and not related to Preeta but here the connection goes to Prachi’s Mom due to which all of this is happening in the first place!
Marrying forcibly is how is look at Ranbir going because he has reached a point that anything Prachi does he will be frustrated. Burning memories do not take them out from the heart.

Final option would be mummy interfering since the show is revolving 🤢 around those two they will show them having some effect in the marriage sequence

But, there’s like a lot of time for marriage. It’s going to be so much drag which I can’t even imagine
