I get that whatever Shaurya said was because of the beliefs in his system. He is an insecure, angry and abused man (abused by parents). I know that and I feel sad for him. But when he uses foul words for Anokhi, as viewers it gets difficult for us to ship him with Anokhi. Anokhi is abused too. She doesn't react so much. I get that we can't expect two different people to react the same way to the same, but when we see Anokhi's characterization and Shaurya's accusations, we don't want her to be with him.

Yep indeed, I've seen so much maturity around. Like, I know we signed up for this, but everyone called out Shaurya on his behavior. Some years ago, such behavior would have been brushed under the carpet with a simple apology.

That's why I said this is no justification. I think for the time being we can consider this as Shaurya's journey and Anokhi's journey separately, as in we can root for them as different individuals. Along the way, with the realisation and redemption, I believe we'll be able to ship ShaKhi as well.

Like you yourself said, victims of abuse do not react in the same way. For the time being, makers haven't dealt much with Anokhi's abuse and how that affects her perception of relationships between man and woman, but that'll will come later.

I think from the beginning, makers wanted it to be Shaurya's journey which is why the show was called Shaurya: Ek Anokhi Kahani. Later the channel interfered and it was labelled as Shaurya Aur Anokhi ki Kahani.

I hope there's a good redemption track. helping her in the cheating issue won't count as redemption.

So I understand the origins of his outburst and based on what you said, how do you foresee an apology/realization from him on what he has said and done? At this point his entire world is stirred up - his feelings, emotions, insecurities, broken childhood, choti soch that lead up to this outburst, how will he ever, if, come to the realization? I'd be interested in your thoughts before we see how it goes.

I think by the end of this track, we'll definitely get an apology. What i'm not sure about, is whether he would apologise to keep her at SIAC (Hence, close to him, because this dude ain't going to Patiala!) or because he would genuinely understand that the words he used for her is wrong. But, even if we do not get the complete realisation, as far as Anokhi is concerned, it will surely be coming in the near future as he gets to know her.

Or maybe we will get a drunk apology straight from the heart🤣

I think his realisation will come as per the tagline the takkar between badi soch and chotti soch. Since, Anokhi knows a little bit about his way of thinking, I think they'll show her raising this topic time and again and I think at one point Shaurya will have to stop and introspect. A LOT.

Plus, he and his parents will have to work together and resolve their issues. He'll need a closure to his childhood trauma before he can shed his beliefs.

I liked both name, but this is one better in my opinion. His journey and his character development would not be possible without Anokhi as his equal, which I think the current title describes better. I would love for them to also deal with Anokhi's trauma though.

Definitely, "saving" her from the cheating drama is no redemption. I don't think Anokhi would even bother about him saving her, because she was already planning to leave.

That's also what I am not sure about. I'm interested to see how they play it out. Even when he apologized to Astha, we got an apology but not the reason. He was really not willing to apologize all along but somehow, that changed after a day. We can tell the apology was genuine by how he apologized but never really got to know WHAT changed his mind. Although, he did say the moment i do realize my mistake and need to apologize, I will. So I'm guessing, he figured in his heart he needed to. Back to Anokhi, I don't think he will apologize if it doesn't come from his heart but i'd be keen to see how it comes from his heart...if it does. But, even if we do not get the complete realization, as far as Anokhi is concerned, it will surely be coming in the near future as he gets to know her. If she even allows him to get to know her 😆

I really wish this doesn't happen. Shaurya doesn't drink so they would have to spike his drink. I do wish we get a nice one from his heart ..whether she forgives him or not..its up to her.

I signed up for this, but his soch does really bother me but this was promoted and we knew it was coming all along. Im happy there are no surprise elements and he wasn't shown something but later turns up this way...but I find it really hard to believe it was promoted as "soch ki takkar and pyaar ke phool khilenge" I do enjoy the show, chemistry and characters, however.

Yeah, Shaan's "behave Shaurya" is really annoying me now. He can't just turn up to ask him to behave if he was never there for his child. They really need to be patient and work w him, sit him down and have a conversation. I mean, the guy hasn't even had a chance to vent to his parents properly. And they expect him to be understanding...(not saying that this excuses his behavior) but just pointing out that they need to work together to resolve his traumas

It's going to get worse - (or maybe this was the worst) before a u turn happens.

Shaurya hasn't been living his life he's been surviving.
