I just said that as a joke. Shaurya is confused as to what Anokhi is to him. Not a student anymore, not a friend ( because people don't say such things to a friend), not a prospective life partner (because he is still concerned about her career, otherwise he would have asked her to give it up), just a girl he can become a savior to and she would owe everything to him.

Apparently, he has started being drawn to her for whatever reason, but is unable to connect the dots... 😆 so he technically wants everything - her attention, interest and love maybe.

How and what I understand with shaurya is that he really never cared for anokhi to start with..rather he saw her as someone who snatched his parents or astha whatever.. but when he saved her in ragging incident and that hug etc..somehow he felt like here there was someone he wanted to be for or like a saviour mode kinds..it went on when he saved her in riots then again from the gundas in the night and many times.. he started to feel that he is the only saviour for anokhi.. it's kind of his right now.. the problem is that noone in his house or life has really cared much for him and here he has subconsciously pinned Hopes from a girl to appreciate him and show him back the same care..

He doesnt even understand that he is falling for her and is rather jealous.. and to cover up for everything he just puts the different reasons.. same happened when he told astha that he doesnt care if she lives or dies and when she went missing he regretted his words..

Devi has killed his emotional quotient and made him a person who needs to think in a certain way only.. but his trapped emotions r surfacing out due to anokhi astha and shaan around now.. these three will have to save and bring him out from clutches of devi

What a Delusional man he is. Shaurya could care less about her career and just used exams as an excuse for her to stay back. He’s just trying to one up the Ahir in his head so he can feel good about himself. Oh I care about her career and ACP he doesn’t.
