What I want to see - Possible future scenario 1

Since I have been a little pissed off with Shaurya like most people here, I thought of writing scenarios of what I want Anokhi to be like while dealing with the “Soch” part of this show at various points. Also, I am terrible while writing long post in detail like so many of you do it - hence, I am not writing this as an OS.

I mentioned several scenarios I would want CVs to cover which highlights gender biases and mentality.

As for the current plot in the show, I am sure Shaurya will become a hero again by saving Anokhi in the cheating fiasco by Saturday. Let’s see how CVs deal with it, and it has been fun reading OS and posts the whole day ranting about this ugly "soch" of Shaurya. 😈

In this post I assuming following "Soch"

Scenario: Permission granted!

Context: Shaurya andAnokhi are married. Post marriage, Anokhi’s life has been a series of disappointment with every single person being against progressive thought process, including her darling husband, Shaurya.

Anokhi has received wonderful opportunity abroad at Harvard as a guest faculty on one of the novel economic topics which Anokhi has mastered. She must travel to Boston for about six months. Shaurya is against the decision for Anokhi to take this up as he does not want her to leave him or his family for that long. Anokhihas had enough. She talks to her lawyer and gets divorce papers ready. She hands them over to Shaurya asking him to sign it as she considers her opportunity to be a golden one. This is done in front of the whole Saberwal Parivar.

Shaurya is shocked to know that Anokhi would prefer divorcing him over abiding by his request for her to continue her work as she has been doing so far – from Home! But he can not lose her at any cost, he cannot imagine living like his father has lived all these years without a ray of hope of getting back together with his wife.

Shaurya: I am not signing these, Anokhi. Please promise me you will come back to me after these six months of your work, if I give you the permission for going ahead taking up the opportunity.

Everyone in the Saberwal family is shocked at Shaurya’s reaction. Astha smiles briefly. The camera zooms on every single face there 😆

Anokhi: I am asking for a divorce and not your permission.

Once again, the camera focuses on the super shocked face of every member, and the smile is wiped off Astha’s face. Anokhi looks around at a surprised face.

Anokhi: Why are you all so shocked?

Anokhi walks towards Kanchan.

Anokhi: Yash jiju goes around the country all year long, has he ever asked for your permission? Or even considered informing you about his plans well in advance?

Anokhi moves to Gayatri

Anokhi: You tell me chachi, Alok chachu has plans to move to Patiala, has he considered knowing your opinion about it?

Anokhi then looking at everyone.

Anokhi: Then why me? Had the family been equal, I would have been happy to have fruitful discussion; but I don’t see any scope for discussion here. Hence…

Anokhi looks into the Shaurya's eyes.

Anokhi: I am going to Boston, no matter what. If I am divorced, I won’t return! But I definitely am not seeking your permission at this point.

I have done enough of going across living by everyone’s expectations after marrying you – but what's important to me – is important…

ahh, I want Shaurya's misogyny to end during their dating period only. It's starting to show up, so I want to believe that when they date, Anokhi challenges his behavior and it reclines. I don't want the divorce drama or misunderstanding drama in their married life. Would love to see how Anokhi deals with the rest of the family though

😆 yes, I know CVs might not deal with these minor issues with that intensity, hence I just imagined it.

To be very honest, I am not sure if it's going to be easy to end it that soon as that's the show's premise. But I read that he will continue to be distrustful and jealous as per OG version.

Nevertheless, this is something I could imagine on ShaKhi based on some thoughts I have heard from my friends who are married into similar setup. These friends usually only point out, rest of the things are manageable only if their husband is supportive and strong. I could have imagine Shaurya to be like Shaan, 😆 but after his words today, I felt like... Naa suite nai karega uss par...

Saberwals doesn't deserve Anokhi. To be honest, they don't even deserve Gayatri and Kanchan.

In an ideal world, Anokhi would remain as far away as possible from the Sabherwals as possible Shaurya included until he is genuinely sorry and apologetic and shown signs of improvement but i know that will never happen

🤗 oh I love that song!!! It focuses on how a couple should trust each other and not tie down one (usually woman) with their own insecurities.

Technically, no woman is deserved by this family. Shagun was literally saved... But being intelligent enough to get in Cambridge does not make her smart enough to make a decision to stay away from creepy family like Saberwals.

I love that song! I think there is a female version. I have heard it on YouTube somewhere. But yes, I was imagining male version while writing this...hoping Shaurya trusts her... Jo Tera Howega woh laut ayega...

And now when you said this.. It could be possible from Anokhi too... To trust Shaurya that he will be by her side... No matter what...

I really doubt that such mentalities can change easily. It's ingrained in this crazy family. But this is show... Anokhi will have to fall in love... Kya kare? it's just that family as whole has long way to go! I am just worried that knowing Shaurya and his twisted mind, hope he does not manipulate her further.
