While browsing the net , I came across this article which talks about non apologetic people . While most might associate such behavior with pride , arrogance and , ego . Its actually their way of protecting their self . Non apologetic person associate sorry to shame and bad character . While reading this , it crossed my mind that Sai is one among them . She has never apologized for her mistakes till now at least not to Virat . Is it really difficult for her to apologize or has she taken him for granted . Is it easy to live with people who don’t own up their mistakes . Virat is someone who makes mistake , realizes it and tries to rectify it . Can we say the same about Sai ?

Few incident I could think of where an apology was due

1. Sai accusing Virat for not approving her fathers VRS : Initially , I could understand the misunderstanding but later even after knowing he has approved it she never apologized for being rude . In fact in a scene where she calls him Sir for first time , we can see how she struggles to apologize him even when she realizes he was not there to cancel the VRS but for some final handover work .

2. Accusing of killing her father : this is the biggest of all where she accused him of killing his mentor . I understand she was in a trauma but even later she didn’t feel sorry for accusing an innocent man

3. Accusing of hitting her with a stick : She misunderstood him and called him a wife beater . Even after the incident , forget being sorry but she was rude to him

4. Recent incident during lunch drama : I do t like to revisit the incident but for accusing him of infidelity, EMA when the truth is different

5 . Will she realize her impulsive ss in handling a mentally unstable life and for unilaterally taking decision in this matter

I have seen many teenagers who own up their mistake and apologize so I believe being an 18 yr old is the reason for this behavior.

Did Sai never apologize to Virat?? That's not the case. She genuinely felt bad and said sorry when she destroyed all the balloons brought by him for her, to calm down his mad family. She simultaneously apologized to him when he took her back to their room on the same day when they both visited DIG's office.

Out of all the incidents mentioned above Virat became indirectly responsible for 1 & 2 (sometimes due to his Kamal sir's order) which badly crashed her dreams of moving to Nagpur with her father. She would have apologized by now had she been not subjected pure mental and physical torture (mirch grinding) by his rude family members.

For 3 he understood why she reacted that way. Her behavior was a result of his weird family's disgusting reactions. Which he understood very well.

No. 4, her accusations were partially true. Though Virat doesn't have an EMA or exhibit infidelity his actions always welcome the ex into his personal matters or marital issues which has to be between the spouses.

There are instances where she could have been understanding and apologise.

BUt considering the age and what she is being put through I don’t think she is wrong in what she says.

imagine constantly questioned about upbringing, being put down just because they hate her. Having to always stand up for herself.

Virat supports her not denying it. But there are times when he has been quiet when he needn’t be ( it’s the writers fault ) especially when she is taunted about her parents , upbringing etc.

the onus is on Virat majorly because she fails to draw lines with Pakhi. Yes he did say he doesn’t have any feelings but how conveniently he forgets all the taunts by Pakhi when he is not in good terms with Sai. He lets her invade their private space when he clearly stops others from doing so.

not saying he is having Ema NOT at all. But all this gives extra power to the cunning lady

People say Sai needs to learn to be a bit more diplomatic but fail to realise this girl is 1) a teenager 2) lost her mother at birth 3) lost her only family (father) at 18, who was there to teach her diplomacy and adjusting in joint families?

And 4) forced into a marriage with a man committed to another woman so why would she want to adjust anyway when she has to leave in the future? And to top it all, she is someone who will stand up to injustice no matter what, even if it’s family, her sense of justice, morality righteousness is far stronger than that of Virat. If we put ourselves in her place, we’ll learn to feel some empathy.

While I agree that Sai is constantly belittled by Kaku and gang but Virat is put through similar torture . He is taunted just like her , his intentions are questioned at every opportunity and he is expected to play a referee every time there is a issue between them . He is welcomed home with complains . Does it make it less painful because they are his family members? I don’t know if it does but it’s hurts when your own family look down on you . His life isn’t easy either but he does apologize when he realizes his mistakes . I think it’s more to do with the nature rather than the circumstances.

I completely forgot about ballon incident and I don’t remember the DIG incident so I need to refresh my memory.

Her dreams of moving to Nagpur was crashed because of her father’s decision . Virat was not responsible for it . Infact , he persuades Kamal Joshi to move to Nagpur for Sai’s sake after the kidnapping incident . She was judgmental even before he asked Kamal Joshi to reconsider his VRS plans . She blames him for that mud incident even when she knew she was just a passenger not the driver . They started on wrong note and it continued till a long time

I agree to all the points but the 4th one..Sai did not accuse him of EMA .. she said he loves Pakhi and hides it from the world.. And he did say to her that he loves someone else and is committed to her for life..Sai just deduced it's Pakhi by looking at their concern at each other.. not to forget the accusations came just after the whole family questioned Sai's intentions on wanting to accompany her husband while they were encouraging Virat to go with his Bhabhi whom everyone's knows he shares a past with .. and also take her for sight seeing.. How normal is it for his Bhabhi who is also his ex to come and ask him to pack his clothes in her briefcase and he the people pleaser he is does not deny the same even after telling his wife the previous day.. Sai was angry at how the family did not question Patralekha for going to an extent of tearing off the tickets just because Sai came along while Sai is questioned for being tad bit late to prepare breakfast.. Pakhi can enter the room any time she wants..can come in between the couple and talk while others are asked to not interfere ..Sai is aksed to watch her tone..bas Sai..Pakhi ke khilaf ek aur shabd nahi.. to Pakhi ..bas Pakhi...problem kya hai tumhari..that too once in awhile..It was Virat who even after his marriage indirectly told Sai Pakhi is his love ..changed it to dost when Pakhi left the place..From Sai's perspective he is in love with her and the family uses him to keep Patralekha at home.. and Sai being Sai said it upfront.. I do want her to apologise for calling Virat a toy..but she did not insinuate EMA at all..

I understand what she is going through but Sai has made some assumptions based on certain facts but she is not looking at the complete picture. somewhere she is still struck at his words uttered during their marriage.

If Virat truly loves Pakhi why would he support Sai instead of Pakhi? There are quite a few occasions where he gave back to Pakhi. On contrary, he only stops Sai when she crosses her limit. He doesn't stop her from giving back to Pakhi but it stops her when he feels she is disrespectful.

Why would he take her along to Ladakh if he loved Pakhi? He would have used this opportunity to spend some time with his love. Sao is failing to see this

There are times she really needs to think about Virat that even he is going through a lot.

1. Agreed, she was being rude. She didn't understand then but could have apologized later.

2. She was grief stricken, ideally she should apologize, but personally I will let this one pass.

3. She did not call him a wife beater per se, and the family's reactions made her believe something else. She felt hurt. It was a misunderstanding, where none Virat or Sai were at fault, and Virat cleared it. I don't think this one warrants an apology.

As to rudeness, I don't think she was being rude she was being her usual sarcastic self.

4. She didn't accuse him of infidelity. The family kept questioning her intentions so she showed them the mirror. And what she said about Virat being khilona was true. She did not say Virat enjoys being khilona, she said Bhawani treats him like one. Which is true. I don't think Virat had even realized that.

Rather I feel she should have apologized for saying that Virat made up Kamal sir's last wish story. Which she did apologize about to her father, but she didn't say sorry to Virat.

5. Definitely right about this one, her behaviour is really irresponsible.
