For what it's worth, several BW movies in the last decade have been south remakes.

Yeah. I meant South overall. And yes I would prefer Malayalam movies over Tamil/Telegu anyday.

Omg the day I found Hera Pheri is also remade..it was just 🥺

I have no problem with remakes if they make it good. But original...is original you know!

hera pheri was a classic in malayalam

priyadarshan could replicate 90% of the original essence. something cant be translated due to reginal barriers
