I loved them from day one. They are fire and ice for me. And yes, I love the fact that Virat is so emotional..Kudos to Neil for bringing it out so beautifully. Basically opposites attract where these two are concerned. Their intense loyalty towards the ones they love...it's attractive.

Now this intensity has yet to be turned towards each other. I am waiting for it..I hope the makers don't disappoint us.

They both know each other's flaws and are on their way to accepting each other as they are. In real life, over the years, couples learn from each other and help each other evolve. Because this is a serial, I know it may not happen 😆.

We could have a bit more scenes of physical closeness or awareneds now because it is a natural progression of the relationship. But even their conversations are enough.

I remember Ayesha's caption when she'd posted a pic of Virat and Sai. She had quoted the song from 'Rock On'. It's totally apt for Sairat.

Ye tumhari meri baatein

Hamesha yun hi chalti rahe

Ye humari mulakatein

Hamesha yun hi chalti rahe

Beetein yun hi apne saare, din raat

Baaton se nikalthi rahe, naye baat

Phir wahi baatein le ke

Geet koi hum likhe

Jo dil ko, han sab ke dil ko choolein

Baatein suro mein yun hi pigalthi rahein

Baatein geetho mein yun hi dhalthi rahein

From day one, from the first promo itself,I fell in love with Sai and then Sairat. I got so bored to watch the yoga love part. I just could not connect to it at all but when Gadchiroli part commenced,I got so involved with the story and Sairat. Even then there was amazing chemistry between the two. The understanding they have when they enact a scene together, makes it believable,. It is not easy to woo the viewers in such a way,...and they managed it beautifully. Some pairs get universal love..This pair is like that. The age gap between them ( real and reel) reminds me of SRK Kajol who got the same natural bonding off screen and on screen. Sairat is pure love . They are loved by all age groups..like the iconic pair I mentioned.

omg!! I love this song..

Suits those two so well. Their charm is different. The ability they have as a couple I find realistic.. same misunderstandings same way to make up.. and heading towards beintaha mohabbat..

Even in this track keeping the common sense aside, kaku and didi think they will win by separating sairat but that will be their biggest loss because they will just push sairat closer to each other..

the whole purpose of the track (no matter how shoddy, pathetic, insensitive it is) is to make sairat realize their love for each other

Ayesha puts so much thought into the caption for sairat. It makes sense and is beautifully written. It’s treat to fans to see an actor also interested in the journey of the character they portray. The caption she put for the mahashivratri picture is also good and apt.

1. Their individual characters are different from the rest of the leads. Hence there is something different about the couple as well. If the male lead was typical arrogant but somehow good hearted guy and the female lead was bechari abla trying hard to be cute their pair would have been damn predictable. We all know how that story progresses. We have tons of them.our hero and heroine are flawed but not in a typical way.

2. There's effortless chemistry between them without any extra touching, dori tying, dori breaking scenes. They just need to look at each other. But yes if their staring session continues, I get bored too. These shouldn't last for too long.

3. There's a charm in Neil that oozes out of his eyes, voice, expressions etc.

4. Most of the lead pairs are based on passion, touching etc. But this couple gives me homely feels. They are soothing to watch even if they fight😆

5. There's a comfort level between the actors that make it feel like Sai and Virat belong together.

P.S. I hope I didn't offend anyone with my post.

why is this couple liked by so many people , when the makers show us the bare minimum in terms of screen space ?

It’s not out of the world storyline but there is a inexplicable charm surrounding them that we as an audience, forget our hate towards the makers, when they give us Sai and Virat in one screen.

Why do you guys like them ?

So True! Everything in this show, lacks common sense, they have created really great characters, but have failed to execute them properly.

Sairat is like the only magnet that pulls everyone to the show, if it hadn't been for them, the show would have collapsed long back.

Sairat definitely has a charm, that makes everything about Sairat feels natural, sweet and soothing, feels like kahin pe jalan ho, aur koi dawai lagade😆

The actors playing Sairat have done a fantastic job, that keeps us wanting for more.

The plot has so much potential, but makers seem to put no effort. Especially the Devkit track, it was such a dark, mysterious story of how they separated a couple and a mother daughter. Such an issue should be treated sensitively, but they have made it a joke. Nowadays I find it so irritating, I am like, just get done with their wedding and start separation.

But Sairat's charm has kept me hooked to the show. Both Virat's and Sai's hesitation to speak up is damn relatable. There are many many people who are scared of being vulnerable, both of them yearning for each other, yet unable to say anything, is so beautiful. Personally, I love a slow burn. Most of the time I don't like romantic shows/movies/books because most of them don't really love each other, its just merely attachment. But here Virat and Sai are everyday slowly discovering each other, and loving every bit of each other. Their love is so deep. I don't know how to put it in words. That uncertainty that is there in a new relationship, its there with Sairat as well. There is a certain appeal. We haven't got much scenes of them together, but whatever we have gotten, they are mesmerizing, even the fights too. This is the first time I have fallen so much in love with a tv show couple, the only pair I have ever loved this much was Ron and Hermione from Harry Potter (but again, there it was not marriage centric, its a whole lot of other world).

Few people were annoyed that we did not get dori tying, and falling on bed scenes, and while there is nothing wrong with them wanting those, but personally I love Sairat's dynamics. The whole deal thing is such a lovely plot (in fiction, not in real life). And Virat is such a gentleman, aside from the whole hand holding track, Virat has treated Sai so respectfully. Not once has he tried to invade her personal space in the name of romance. Never has he forced himself on her (not just in a physical way). Virat was right, Sai doesn't read him well, if she did she would know Virat does not love Pakhi. But Sai is right too, the way Virat behaves, its hard to distinguish what actions are zimmedari and what actions are genuinely out of care. Especially after his pyar... dosti slip. Its hard not to see him through one lens.

Never did I think that I would connect so much with the characters of an ITV show
