this makes no sense to me that he is believing the guardianship...

Pulkit might have put Madhuri as the guardian because he was living in the thought that Devyani has moved on, so if anything were to happen to him who would have taken care of harini...

I mean any sane person would allot a guardian for their child if anything were to happen to them.. pulkit has no one so Madhuri being his muh boli behen takes care of harini...

Guardians don’t necessarily have to be parents.. if the parent signs off someone else as a guardian then they have the right to take care of the child..

yes the nickname ma is confusing but if only he were to ask pulkit why then he would know the truth...

for me this whole guardianship thing in the bank is stupid because it is a normal thing to do...

one more point— how is pulkit to provide the bank with proof of devyani.. aadhar card, on card, for him she moved on..

I studied abroad and my parents weren’t available all the time to care of me (since I was 17) so they signed off my gaurdianship to my dads sister who stays there so that if any issue arises she can take the decision on their behalf...

believing that harini is pulkit and Madhuris child based on the gaurdianship on the bank documents is stupid... anyone can be a guardian of signed off by the parent

I know Sai is trusting her instincts. But I don't blame Virat's stance considering the evidence he got (I agree investigation was shoddy). People will have differing opinions in matters that are so crucial. Sai cannot assume that everybody should agree to her PoV.

I don't think in this case he is blinded by love for his family, but rather relying on the investigation he has done. From his PoV , Virat may feel that Sai has been mistaken due to some chaal that Pulkit has played. Sai herself has not done any great investigation herself...she has nothing to back her claim except her instincts.

As devyani's brother, Virat has the right to be convinced before agreeing. If Sai had tried everything possible to convince Virat, and he is going into denial, then the case is different. She has not even tried. That is my problem. In Devyani's case, Virat is not being shown as going into denial. If he has sound proofs, he will get convinced. But Sai is not ready to be patient. She is being insensitive towards Virat. And being reckless towards Devi because no matter what her instincts she has to do more digging into Pulkit to be absolutely sure - since there is no room for error.I'm very disappointed with Sai.

Virat did not even bother to check adhar cards of Madhuri and Pulkit. These days adhar is the vital proof for ourselves. Pulkit is idiotic for not trying to contact Virat and if necessary DIG through his influence if Virat refuses to meet him. On his part Pulkit proved to be a clueless,brainless,complacent person who depended upon his student,a 19 year old to solve his personal problem.He should have asked Sai not to interfere and assure her that he will tackle it by himself.

I agree with you. But I really think that she would take that decision because of the same reason as in the original ( I really hope ) . But let’s see

Agreed, but my whole point is why not go and talk to pulkit...

I get it at this moment he is feeling like pulkit has cheated tai but as a police officer you go and listen to both sides of the story..

He has heard everything Sai and family has to say

Now he should go and talk to pulkit.. you cannot just ignore what he has to say..

Sai is definitely being impulsive but as a police officer you cannot be biased.. you need to know his version.. collect all the facts and then take a step...

just because bank papers say some is guardian it doesn’t mean you stop the investigation..

Where is the marriage certificate of pulkit and Sangeeta, where is the prof of Madhuri being harinis biological mother...

these things have to be investigated..

only pulkit or the so called Sangeeta will have the marriage certificate and the court so why won’t you check there..

by going to the college and looking at the admin papers is so dumb... anyone can change those.

as for pulkit, after knowing about the letter the man should contact Virat to tell him the truth.. why he isn’t is what is so silly here

Agreed. Virat is a duffer. His investigation skills are so shoddy that even a constable will do a better job. And he should confront Pulkit. My only problem with Sai is her taking a unilateral decision. If Virat had taken a unilateral decision for her Aabha, would she have liked it?

At the end of the day, all this discussion may just be the result of our confusion - arising out of horrendous, shoddy writing.
