No we dont stay awake till then😆

Our fast starts from morning itself..it depends frm each family how they do it..every household has diff rules of fasting

Usually you go off to sleep

But during Mahashivrarti as a sign of devotion, you stay awake the whole night for Lord Shiva

And for us 4am is our start of each day so

After that if you are awake then eat and if you slept then eat when you get up

But then it depends upon families too
