Dev n naintara love each other. But naintara's family opposed it, humiliating the khurana family.

Dev broke down. But with time realised that his family is suffering as well n decided to move on for them.

But amidst all this the most affected were maan n geet. Maan vowed to never fall in love n breaking geet's heart. She got anxious.

"Maan, are you alright? Dev bhaiya theek hain na" Geet sat opposite to him. He sipped the water slowly, which he had been holding for some time now, trying to get grip over his frantic heart and frayed nerves.

He nodded slowly, taking another sip, and kept the glass in the space between his legs.

Geet exhaled a long held breath she didn't know she has been holding. In all her stupidity she almost forgot about Maan and just remembered his vow. Tormented herself to the limit of falling sick. Her family.

These days, she hasn't called Maan even once, when he needed her most.

He looked up in her eyes. Her beautiful eyes looked troubled and sunken. She looked changed, not just her health was down. The usual mirth has been missing.

"Sorry Maan"

He averted his gaze. He wasn't expecting an apology.

"Hmm...why? , tum theek ho?"

She nodded. A faint smile touched her lips. Maan has come to see her. Even of it's not love she would treasure their precious friendship.

Even if he was distraught and disorientated, minutes ago. He was at peace now. He realised it. Though in dilemma. Seeing Geet proved a panacea for his aching heart. When Sailesh, their classmate had informed him that Geet wasn't keeping well, he felt uneasy and restless. He couldn't attend the rest of lectures and came here to see Geet.

For god sakes he don't know what picture he presented to Brij Veer ji that he said "tum dono ko aakhir hua kya hain?"

" Maan kuch kam tha tumhe?"

"Why did you ask?" Maan asked while fumbling for something in his bag.

She asked for they were short of words today. They couldn't talk about everything or anything.The awkward silence that lingered between them was new and weird. Maan wasn't himself.

"Woh aise hi...

He was scared to meet those big brown eyes and lie. She would know that he is lying. Why he is here? Tumhare bina acha nahi lagta.

He produced a assignment file from bag " assignment complete karne ka koi irada hain"

Geet face palmed " it just slipped my mind"

"Tabhi mujhe ana pada"

A faint ray of hope sprouted in her heart seeing Maan at her doorstep began to diminish.

She blink back the tears and just said " acha kiya"

Interesting Update

Maan was restless the moment he heard that Geet is unwell

while she is pained by the fact that Maan will not fall in love

but both have no idea what lies ahead

and Maan can easily fall in love with Geet later once all the stress

is sorted

at least he came to visit Geet and also gave her the assignment

well for now they will just have to be happy with their friendship

and already now there is awkwardness on both sides

Interesting..

Maan came to see geet.. He was restless hearing about her ill health.

But doesn't know what to say n how to?

These were the two people who were so close who could talk about anything n everything with each other are now looking for reasons n words to talk.
