I know the popular consensus here is that Anokhi is not understanding Shaurya however the prejudice in the title doesn't refer to her, it refers to Shaurya at the moment he was the one who always had wrong assumptions about Anokhi and acted on it. He always saw her Aastha's ma'am's student and took a while to put it behind him.

The pride actually refers to Anokhi here, I am not sure where Anokhi is headed to from here because she started out as a relatable and balanced character however I am really confused about her graph now, has she become too proud to see anybody's truth but hers? What makes her think that only her sense of right and wrong is correct? Funny part is even Aastha ma'am wasn't spared this time and ended up guilty while what she was trying to make Anokhi understand was the right thing that you can't force your thoughts on people.

I really think the people in the writers room need to look into the dialogues that are being written for Anokhi because it is not making sense.

"baat soch ka nahi ma'am sahi aur galat ki hai"

This very dialogue here is confusing how can soch be unrelated to Sahi aur Galat? Isn't it one's soch that lets them decide between right and wrong?

Anokhi has so much potential and flaws are alright as long as they are addressed but today looking at even Aastha giving up I am not sure if this is ever going to be addressed. In fact Anokhi reeked of hypocrisy today she couldn't talk to Aastha normally today after the reprimand and kept reiterating it through words, action and even distancing herself but she is quick to judge Shaurya, now judging Shaurya is not the issue here because it is not her job to understand him (at least not yet) it is the interference coupled with one dimensional understanding of the situation.

Having said this the riot episodes were a riotšŸ˜† despite ACP stealing credit because I am sure whenever the reveal happens it will be phenomenal. I loved how both of them saved each other because ultimately romantic feelings or not these two are beautiful human beings and there was so much intensity in the hospital confrontation the underlying expectations that even they don't understand came to the fore. What was even more beautiful was Shaurya trying to take care of her medicines, asking her to go back and rest when he saw her outside and Anokhi forgetting that they are in the middle of an argument to ask "Aap ko bhi chot lagi hai".

These two areā¤ļø

which is why I don't mind Anokhi misunderstanding Shaurya because whenever things become clear it would be phenomenal to watch her get protective and concerned for him. What bothers me is her graph and dialogues which definitely need some improvement.

You got me with the title! I definitely came in thinking that Anokhi would be the prejudice and Shaurya would be the pride but you're totally right that these two are flipped. He isn't actually that prideful because he admits when he is wrong but he definitely isn't seeing things fairly right now. Anokhi on the other hand is definitely coming off as prideful today. Her character arc is quite confusing since she seems to accept whatever Aastha says as gospel and yet today, she seemed to doubt even Aastha's ability to fight. I guess she thinks that Aastha is strong enough to fight for others' rights but not her own.

You're spot on that Anokhi today was so upset with Aastha for scolding her for what was probably the first time. orinic that she couldn't handle not receiving Aastha's affection for one time, while Shaurya hasn't received it for 25 years. Clearly in her mind, she thinks Aastha is taking her son's side because he is her son, thereby relegating her position to being just her student. Aastha has made it abundantly clear that she thinks of her as more than that but Anokhi isn't willing to see that when she thinks Aastha is wrong.

At times I feel like Anokhi sees the world as us versus them. Until now she has seen Aastha and Shaurya with her in the "us" camp. When Shaurya lashed out at Aastha, she put him in the "them" category. Now, when Aastha also scolded her, she put Aastha in the "them" camp as well. I hope this somewhat changes when she realizes how much she misunderstood and misjudged Shaurya and realizes that things cannot be so clear cut all the time.

@bold this makes a lot of sense! I think this "Us" vs "Them" stems from her own childhood issues because of her own parenting issues witn her dad? Because it was usually her mother, babli and Anokhi vs her dad right? I did not watch the initial episodes thoroughly so I could be wrong.

Hey! I was just gonna post the something similar about Anokhi but you have put it in a more specified way šŸ˜›

The thing that I wondered today was

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ANOKHI WHO SAW "NAFRAT AUR GHUSSE KE SAATH DARD" IN SHAURYA'S EYES after meeting him only 2-3 times..?

Why is she not able to see it now? Is it only worry and concern for Astha?

I believe that she is partially correct and partially wrong here in dealing with the issue. She is definitely came off as a girl blinded by her pride when she started sunaofying Astha about sahi and galat when what Astha made complete sense.

What good would it do if Shaurya didnt really feel sorry but said so anyways to get Anokhi off his back?! Who was she to judge what was right or wrong when she didn't know him?

On the other hand she was slightly right. Shaurya was really mean that night and should apologize to her. But Anokhi is also blinded by her hurt that he left her in the riots so her tarika was galat.

I feel Anokhi's character has gone off the rails in this track and I hope they bring back that mature girl who got lost ever since she has known abt Astha and Shaurya. And somewhere it feels like she was losing the argument so she turned it into a guilt trip for Astha by saying those lines... I don't say it's intentional, but.... You get my point.

I completely agree. These two are so so cute and just love together. what is Anokhi doing? Wasn’t she here to study? Aatha is a great force behind her dreams so she will go through any extent to help her, however, Aatha is also not in her right mind to make judgements. First she asks Anokhi to get involved indirectly and when Shaur is mean to her and she runs away and Anokhi reprimands Shaur..she has an issue. I think both are right here. That’s no way to talk to Shaur, however, what Shaur said is also not right ..

but who is she to ask Shaur to ask for forgiveness? We cannot control other people’s actions but can encourage them to look the other way.. you cannot demand someone to ask for forgiveness. If someone doesn’t want to ask for forgiveness, it’s not always an ego but sometimes also embarrassment .. people need time to even ask for forgiveness. It has to come from within so when people don’t apologize, you can force them or look down upon them for not asking for forgiveness ..

anyways, she doesn’t make any sense recently.

I’m still disappointed they chose to show something else apart from the promo. The hype and all that seems fake for viewership and trps..hate when they do that.

Yes that's for sure right! It was always us v. them during her childhood and she was the only strong voice who was able to speak out. I suspect that she felt the same way when she fought for Aastha which was why she feels even more hurt that Aastha yelled at her. I also imagine she will be a lot quicker to bring Aastha back into the "us" camp than she will be to bring Shaurya in. Because regardless of whether or not she will back off from him and Aastha's relationship, she will still think he wronged her by abandoning her when she needed him in the riot. So until that also is cleared, he won't be back on her side.

Whoever is writing the dialogues need to read it themselves 🤢

Some of the lines are šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼

I think the writers try to get into an inunendo type of lines which they do not understand themselves and makes no sense to the scene or viewers

Anokhi & shaan have some of those nonsense lines 🤪🤣

Maybe they do that on purpose so that it gets discussed on IFšŸ˜†

"Baat soch ki nahi maam sahi aur galat ki hai"

For me the highlight of the episode was this one line.

Now, what I deduced from it was that Anokhi said this with reference to Shaurya's choice of words and tone for his mother but what troubles me is how couldn't Anokhi realise that it is our thinking that only drives us to differentiate between the right and wrong. Having said that, I also believe that Anokhi is what she is because of the kind of people she has been surrounded with all her life.

All her life she has seen people objecting her and ridiculing her for the dreams she saw and for the way she behaved and now it has become a part of her defence mechanism to act this stubborn about her point. Like when somebody doesn't appreciate her approach she grows defensive about her opinions and measure it on the radar of right and wrong but where she goes wrong is that she doesn't realise that the radar or the graph on which she is trying to measure the right or wrong is solely based on her opinion or her approach.

And then she eliminates the possibility of her being wrong because she was told she was wrong and brazen all her life and she proved them otherwise.

Also, I do hope that the makers become more thoughtful about Anokhi's character since she also has a lot of scope to improve. My problem with Anokhi has never been her nagging nature or the hypocrisy she drips sometimes but what leaves me irritated is that she is not a good listener and even when she listens she does not acknowledge or understand. While on the other hand there is Shaurya, who is a good listener, surprisingly and even acknowledges the opinions when he is told something.

But given to her age I always try to side with Anokhi that she can't be all mature and to the point. She has to be a bit reckless and high on emotions like other people of her generation.

So I dont have any problem with her character for now but if there is no growth in her as a person I will be disappointed and even disheartened.

Anokhi's pride has also led to her prejudice. Her pride in her righteousness stops her from seeing another person's perspective. Like someone stated here, it is also a sort of defence mechanism or survival strategy to protect her self worth. Being constantly told that she is wrong made her fiercely attack that notion. Till now that strategy has proved to be helpful and she has come out victorious. Therefore the belief strengthened. Now she feels she is always right. Not even her Aastha Mam can wipe that notion away.

On top of that both Shaurya and Aastha has somehow given her a sort of leeway into their life. She was unknowingly dragged into Shaurya's feud with Aastha during her admission. She knew how much Aastha affected him in a negative way. Later, on knowing their relationship, she wanted to turn the negative into positive. Even though Shaurya had asked her to stay away, he also opened up to her, sharing more about his feelings than he has ever done with anyone else. And Aastha also allowed her when she offered to make Shaurya meet her. In Aastha's defence she was not in her senses then (I am glad her brains are back). Now Anokhi, in her naivety and over zealousness, has crossed certain boundaries.

She will have to learn that every person has a private space not even their closest people should encroach. You should not force people to think the way you do. That is why even though I may understand Anokhi, I would like her to stay away from the mother-son business and let them sort it out on their own.

@bold exactly! Anokhi is not wrong in calling out Shaurya for his words because they could have had serious consequences however the constant nagging is not necessary
