Also, her misunderstanding of the ACP saving him and thanking him instead of Shaurya is surely making him a little jealous if not much. There may not be romantic feelings involved but yeah, Shaurya wants Anokhi to acknowledge that it was him who saved her. That’s why he mentioned that he can never be hurt because he’s stone hearted (that was a taunt for Anokhi).

It would be great if he gets some reassurance and concern and someone genuinely asks him if he’s doing fine because he too was there in the riots and is bruised too.

He’s surely confused yet happy to see Astha taking his side and scolding Anokhi for arguing and misbehaving with him. This little gesture would also do wonders to him as he would feel comforted deep down in his heart that there is someone who would stand for him and speak against the allegations out through.

P.S. These are just my viewpoints from whatever I’ve seen and understand😅 Please don’t take it otherwise

Loved it...true shaurya just want her to know what he is...her opinion matters to him..

Yeah I hope it’s not a dragged mu bc the promos had it so differently and it’s shown differently here. I was hoping for the same exact scenes from the promo.

Shaurya has developed a very different kind of bond with Anokhi that he hasn't with anyone else before - he doesn't seem to have a close friend or confidante, nor does he share a brotherly or friendly equation with Yash (Kanchan's husband and his cousin) or even with Kitty or Bebo for that matter. Even with Shagun, there was a certain level of formality between them, despite the endearments. So he's pretty much been a loner and never opened up to anyone about his past, his feelings or even his present. And then comes Anokhi, literally barging into his life and shaking his equilibrium. She's stubborn, persistent, fiercely protective of her loved ones, a rebel and doesn't hesitate to question anything - be it about the college, or his personal life, and he often finds himself compelled to answer them. In fact, butting into his personal life has become her favorite hobby since coming to Chandigarh. 🤣 Not to forget, she also doesn't hesistate to challenge him and there's also an intellectual connection somewhere. With all of this, she has managed to scale the walls around his heart and make her way within - and this, not in the romantic sense yet. Right now, she's kind of creating the place of a friend or a close person in his heart and this is a first for him. He likes it, but because he's experiencing it for the first time, he can't name it yet - so her ignorance of him and his sensitivity annoys him, hurts him. The feelings of hurt can also be called jealousy, but not in the romantic sense, yet. This jealousy is more like the one you may feel when a close friend gives preference to someone else - irrespective of gender. Eventually, we may even see Shaurya feeling confused when these feelings start making way for romantic ones.

I agree with what you said, but I do think he was a tad bit jealous - not because he has romantic feelings for her or because he likes her or anything, but because her attention has been diverted from him for the time being.

See, he had her attention from day one - as an intellectual, as the director of the institute she wants to be a part of, as her professor, and finally as the son of her Aastha ma'am. Even during the Aastha sequence, she might have been on Aastha's side but, it was all about his mom and HIM.

I dont think he is the kind of person who want credit or anything- but, the fact that she thinks he did not come back for her has clearly disturbed him. No matter how much they fight - one thing is clear from both side, that they are good humans at the end of the day. Anokhi has seen his rough side, his anger, his ability to hurt his mother with words and has taunted him for the same. Moreover, she now thinks that he left her in riots- I feel like he just wanted the acknowledgement that he is not that heartless to do that (hence, the repetition that he is stone-hearted).

He's come to a point where her opinion and what she thinks of him matters, a lot!

But I liked how the roses ended in the dustbin, the reward of his goodwill ain't going anywhere it does not deserve🤷‍♀️

I agree.

Apart from jealousy (both for and against Anokhi) he is actually dealing with abandonment issues. That dialogue "Mujhe chod ke jane......." from today is a glimpse of that. He is afraid of losing people from his life. He might not identify his feelings for Anokhi as love but he knows that he cares for her even if it means as a student.

The same morning he said "Mujhe tumse baat karni hai..." and "Mujhe kisi aur chiz ke bare mei baat karni thi.." indicates his comfort level with her even if all they do is fight.

He fears losing her bcz he values her and want her to be around even if she stays as a student (right now) That dialogue from todays episode is a actually a glimpse of his feelings that run deeper than an annoyed teacher dealing with an irritating student.

So, as the topic goes, is jealousy the right way to bring out his feelings? smiley23

Won't jealousy complicate things for him emotionally? smiley22

Even when he saved her from the fire, he said the nahi chodunga line. The fact that he tries to clear things with her (fairy light sequence, cutting hair sequence) shows just how important he has become for her!

I don't know if jealousy is the right way - but it will definitely intensify whatever he is feeling and become a catalyst for his realisation! If worked on properly, this could help him get over the feeling that every person he loves would leave him

There was this crack in his voice when he said that. He meant it.

That was another glimpse of his insecurity of losing people. He was deeply affected by her ignorance. He never cared about making things right for the sake of 'no hard feelings' but he was restless throughout the party.

Yes. I just hope it shows up in a healthy way and does not annoy us much...
