The way he can raise just one brow or bringing those lines in his temples, closing his eyes when needed, using his hands to close his mouth sometimes as an expression. Has got a lot of ways to emote feelings. His jaw tightening or pursing his lips. Too good at expressions, has mastered it.

His entire body language conveys some or the other message as per the dialogues.

Ya, he is too good. Has a fabulous screen presence as well. Finally he got his due credit for his fabulous acting through ghum. ☺️

But the scenes/story with Pakhi in the Virakhi love story in the beginning didn’t feel like it, this body language of his and chemistry is only coming out with Sai.

The virakhi scenes were extremely boring from both ends

can't make a comment about that. I haven't watched the show from the beginning. But his frustration with Patralekha comes out really well in the current scenario🤣

Its an art, to bring out the chemistry and get the right reactions from the person in front of you.

With apni vedi vahini, she has an art to kill the chemistry and get flat reactions from the opposite person. And i am happy i am not the only one who feels so.

It is not only with him but with Kaku as well, Sai-Kaku share a better chemistry than vedi vahini.

Not even his expressions but his voice modulation as well was SO incredible I had to rewatch scene multiple times

We are lucky that Neil is playing Virat because he’s truly doing his best to salvage the character from terrible writing with great acting.

I feel ITV has largely mastered the art of bringing chemistry between the leads....Since the lest decade, most of the shows have good chemistry between the leads. In fact there have been several instances where the leads are not on talking terms (in real life) and yet pull off great on-screen chemistry. I would love to know what is the magic formula directors use....

SaiRat are a notch higher than the rest. Both the lead actors seem to have developed a nice rythm ..they seem to play off of each other's expressions....they both take efforts to understand their characters as well as their partner's. I would rate Ayesha a touch higher, but both are great talents. I can remember only one other onscreen pair that was THIS good...

I so agree with you. Neil and Ayesha are fab. Their chemistry oozes out of screen. I think the set up of their room is also nice. She can study in peace, she can laugh, she can have fun there. It is her safe space. Virat too loosens up there. All the beautiful scenes that are there away from CN nautanki make me happy. It is their personal space. I just hope some day Patralekha stops coming there altogether.

@Bold - Let me which one.

But i certainly agree, leads certainly do have a good chemistry. I wont say Ayesha is higher, she certainly has put in a lot of efforts (the girl has improved alot) plus she is talented and Neil is a seasoned actor which reflects.

Plus its the directors effort as well. Also it is up to the cast how they perform and react. This series has a stellar cast and i love how they perform be it sonali or karishma as well.

However one person also has the ability to bring the entire chemistry down but i don't blame her either. I think her problem is she lacks conviction.
