She looks miscast.
Also Saina's mole doesn't look that big. Why did they make it so obnoxious looking

Saina Nehwal deserves sooo much better 😵
It was good until parineeti's dialogues started.child actor resembles Saina I think.
So right, it was good till the poor dialogue delivery was started by Parineeti. The mole is such an eye sore😆, why did the director put it?
all sports biopics have started to look the same to me🤔
Was the mole inconsistent or was it just me? The second half with it feminism message was done like a 12 year old writing a Women's Day speech. M not comming on Parineeti's acting, but I hope they have more screenspace for the child actress🤞😝
not just the mole nothing about parineeti resembles Saina at all in the movie🙄Originally posted by: Jaitreya23

Because all of them have the same plot. Bas sport change hota rehta hai. Making a mockery of themselves and the athlete.
parineeti..what an epic fall..i really wana know what has she changed and why which made her lose her acting chops so badly..rarely we see this level of regression in an artist..
The teaser was an eyesore, trailer dekhna toh dur ki baat hai.😵 The mole on Saina's face actually complements her wheatish skin tone. The fact that a fair complexed actress was choosen for the role and on top of that they tried copying the mole which turned out to be misplaced and distracting is like a lab experiment gone from bad to worse! 🤪
The child actress has the apt complexion and even expresses pretty well from what I originally saw in the teaser. It baffles me to see a wheatish skinned child growing up to become more fairer and bubbly especially when the movie is about a hardcore sportswoman!
Three months into 2021 and we have two films of Parineeti already and none really worth the time!
P.S.: The comments on color are just observations of mine and in no way should it be taken as remarks on race nor should it be termed as sexist. That is not at all the intention. My only beef about this whole Saina film is the wrong casting!
That mole kept changing size from frame to frame. Why did they focus on her mole as if it was important to her talent, or it was a trademark feature, or it was an impediment. Anyhow, if they wanted to focus on it, then why did they mess up something as simple as consistency?
Granted Saina is a legend and of course she must have faced challenges to get there, I felt there is no real conflict in the story. At music and typical biopic format is only going to pull it back.
