If he had legitimate proof of wedding, his story of not being there for 10 years to fight after knowing that she was hospitalised at child birth and separated from her child, is even more questionable. I would really think low of him if he believed that Devyani actually married and went off to live a better life after being separated from her child from her love marriage

But unfortunately i think thats what it is. Pulkit despite being legally married fell for the blackmail and fake stories bk gang gave. Sonehow he seems to have located their child even though bk lied to him about child dying at birth but despite it all he only discoveredc Devi purely by chance because he ran into Sai. They haven't told us exactly how bk gang blackmailed him into leaving and not fighting back. Did they threaten to kill him or kill devi perhaps...or maybe get him rusticated from his medical college. Or havs him arrested on false charges of burglary/rape/murder etc etc.

Yes but someone has to go to court for this... it cannot be independently done. Also, as I mentioned Pulkit believing she went to lead a better life by throwing away her child is a bad idea to me -- he could have taken legal recourse during these years by doubting the story of the family. There is something called habeas corpus that is filed in such cases by spouses whose better-halves have been taken away by force. It almost, always, works.

Plys technically this is a remarriage. Pulkit devi are legally married already. And bk is trying to show that pulkit is polygamous and currently has another wife but that eventually will turn out to be fake.

But Devyani needs to ask him this question: Why did he not trust her and believe their story? She was confined and helpless. He wasn't and as he claims he has utna baithna with big people now, why did he not try to find her and check on her? His story also has loose gaps thanks to the sloppy writing of this all important track. Let me not begin a rant. I am keeping the "questions not to be asked" column regular until we get answers 😆

The biggest unaswered question is why pulkit didnt search for devi in all these years even just to ask her how she could marry someone else after being married to him and having been pregnant eith his child. How did he simply believe BK gang that she left nagpur.

So far it looks like he truly believed Devi was married to someone else and in some undisclosed city in India/abroad and he has only discovered Devi is in nagpur in CN thanks to running into Sai and figuring out that she lives in Sundar Nagar in CN and hence maybe related to Devi...

Basically theres no plot, only one big loophole.

1.Devi is too scared/has psychiatric illness so cant guve details. But pulkit, bk gang CAN.

But no one is asking them anything.

2. Bk told pp some of the truth. She separated devi-pulkit forcefully and got child sent to orphanage, told pulkit child was dead and devi got married to someone else.

3. But pulkit- we dont know what proof he was given to convince him of devi leaving and getting married to someone, dont know how many years/months after Harinis birth did he find her snd once he did why didnt he take BK gang to court for unlawfully separating a child from her biological parents by lying that she was dead. Maybe he didn't want to risk separation from his daughter by getting into legal battle. But why did he never seek out devi even just for closure is unclear.

4. Whether devi-pulkit had a legal marriage with witnesses or was it just bhaag kar shaadi in a temple with no eye witnesses is not clear. I'm guessing atleast pandit toh hoga. Did they ever register their marriage? I think they did coz in KD i think eventually rono finds proof of the first marriage

If it was a legal marriage technically hes the immediate next of kin for Devi but hes been MIA for 10 years so he needs to explain how/why before he takes Devi away but thats also only if anyone actually goes to court over it! If no one contests his rights as Devi's husband then he can take her with him.

Medically like I said,Devi seems to be competent to make decisions for herself.

5. If the first wedding was not legit at all, then theres more trouble. Because this shaadi is not merely a remarriage. And for this shaadi to be acceptable first Devi needs to be examined by a doctor and deemed capable to make decisions for herself and also the 2 other points janki mentioned. But agsin for sll this someone needs to go to court/police to file a complaint. So far neither party is doing that.

6. And theres the added angle of the fake claim of pulkit being married already which this letter is bringing in. Thats a problem whether or not he is already legally married to devi/not. But its definitely more of a problem if the first marriage was never real because for him to get married to devi now he needs to prove that he's not already married to someone else. But even if he was legally married to devi- technically he cant get married to anyone else until he applies for a divorce right? Polygamy is not allowed in hindu marriages right. I think in sone religions/countries it is allowed...

7. Devi's psych illness is also a big mystery- who is her doctor? Does she even have one. Or is bk medicating her without any prescription from a qualified doctor. If she is, will anyone file a complaint against her for this.

Infact it looks like bk gang will get away scot free with no legal/criminal implications for everything they have done to devi/harini.

And i highly doubt that all these questions will be answered even when track is over.

this was the best plot in the story .. till now .. considering they had already done it .. they should have closed of the loopholes

Challenged pulkit to show DNA that Harini belongs to Devyani to family .. then they won’t oppose the marriage ..then they could have shown pakhi mixing the DNA report .. and the bug MU .. later on sayi doing the needful ..
