I have been privy to the discussions all along while watching this series. But this is my first post in this forum. I am Sadi and in US time zone. I like the forum and all the members and their funny and insightful posts. I could not hold it seeing all the awesome discussions so thought of pitching in and share my viewpoint on the story. :)

To introduce myself, here is some background on my hindi soap addiction :)

I like hindi soaps which are different from the regular ones and also choose the ones that have promising actors. Some stories that loved watching include Balika Vadhu, Diya aur baati hum, Rangrasiya, Gulaal etc.

I like the stories that capture the issues in Indian society and showcase the lives of people going through the turmoil. Ofcourse after a certain point they become cliched and thats when I stop watching haha :D

I got hooked to this soap after we got hotstar subscription and saw Neil in the picture. I have watched his performance in Diya aur baati hum and the most popular Kesar from Gulaal and instantly liked his acting. Thats how I chose to pick this serial. Otherwise I stopped watching any serials after Rangrasiya and Siya ke Ram. Yes I was a huge Ashish Sharma fan and still am.

PS: To all the Neil's fans here, please watch Gulaal to see his acting prowess. He was so raw and intense in his potrayal of Kesar that one would instantly fall for his acting.

Sometimes I feel these actors like Neil bhatt and Ashish Sharma are far better than mainstream movie actors. Only if they get enough recognition!!

Well finally even I have started liking his acting and him as an actor. Thanks to Virat Chavan. 😆

I don't like the hyped actors so yes these non hyped actors are far better. Ashish Sharma I loved him in Prithvi Vallabh. Another brilliant actor is Mohit Raina.

Sometimes I like the kid actors. Siddharth Nigam is 1000 times better than those overhyped actors of SP and Colors. 😆

Also, same pinch😆. I am fan of both Neil Bhatt and Ashish Sharma too. I liked Rangrasiya and Siya Ke Ram is my all time fav.

Watched Diya and Bati hum on and off but regularly saw Neil's part, and especially started loving his performance after I started watching this show.

gulaal is SUCH a rare gem of a show i loved it so much when it was on air neil was phenomenal in it. i wish they one day upload it to hotstar it's wonderful 👍🏼

Neil is an excellent actor much better than the most of the famous actors of ITV but he didn’t get the recognition that he deserved. It’s true talent cannot be measured by fame . I hope he gets his due through this show . He can convey 100 of emotions without any dialogue.
