Not good will give it a miss.
Stopped as soon as I heard that trumpet sound. Such a cliché choice for sports movies.
That mole looks so fake and the dialogues are way too melodramatic and cringeworthy. 🙄
Sanya Malhotra would have been a better fit.
It was good until parineeti's dialogues started.child actor resembles Saina I think.
is the mole even necessary? 😂Originally posted by: Wistfulness

I'm not trying to bash Parineeti but even the child actor looked more natural than her.
As someone mentioned earlier, Sanya Malhotra would have been a better choice. Also, BW needs to learn how to make biopics from the West. A biopic is supposed to be about the person first. Preaching and moral gyan should be secondary or atleast subtle.

Also, does anyone else find biopics of active players weird!!
MS Dhoni, while a great movie, will never be a true biopic because MSD faced his toughest times on the cricket field after the World Cup victory. But the movie ended there.
Saina is still playing badminton - got eliminated in Swiss Open last week. She is slowly phasing out, but still actively ranked no.20 in the world.
Its just weird, because you know it will only be half a story.

I find it super weird. Infact most of these biopics shouldn't even be called biopics. Par these folks (BW producers/directors) mostly treat athletes/sportsperson as cash cows. Jab hype hai tab movie release krdo otherwise these personalities will become has beens. And then the creators will have to actually work on creating a good movie with a tight script to entice the audience like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag 😆.
In case of active players at least 30% of the audience consists of the fans and the folks who are interested in the person more than the movie.
Even the Saina biopic was announced when she had just won the title if I'm not wrong. Wo toh the movie got delayed and now they have lost most of the mileage.
