Today pakhi And Chavans are questioning virat that he should stop the wedding .. and bla bla

But rather lobbying for Sayi .. can virat what life are we giving Devyani

she’s locked in the room .. her mother calls her mad .. she’s not allowed in any family function .. she humiliated .. she’s never taken for any professional help .. what wonderful life are they giving .. that Devyani should be kept back in the house

That is the problem in that exchange. He is lobbying for Sai instead of lobbying for Devayani's happiness. He is saying same nonsense- how family is shocked, angry. He should be doing his own investigation - visit Pulkit at his home, meet Harini, do some background check. Next when some problem comes, he will dump whole responsibility on Sai.

Virat has his reasons for trusting Pulkit and Sai’s information gathering . He knows Pulkit from childhood and his Aai , Tai have vouched for his goodness . He hasn’t found anything suspicious and this letter will make him suspicious and he might want to do his investigation before the wedding . If Sai hadn’t helped Devi elope he would have done his share of investigation and would have known the truth . He was never given enough time to process the situation and act accordingly.

One thing I'm unaware of is why was Virat mostly hesitant or refusing to explain to Sai whenever she asked him about Devi tai. I have no clue about the other versions of Ghum, how they executed this point but yes, this was weird. Now, given the fact that Virat didn't even know Tai was married & how she has been mistreated by the Chavans Why did he keep mum?

It's not about him asking his family members about the current issue, its more of how he should realize his family is so stubborn, arrogant & has no faith in humanity. I've seen families with bad characterisation before on ITV but this family beats them all. Plus Virat as an educated Police officer should have taken Tai to a good doctor who can treat her, instead of getting in to the matter after Sai came in to his life and started pointing out the importance of caring for your family members who needs support. I so resonate with this post. Only loophole in this one is Sayee informing about Hairini the daughter and none of the two know anything about her..

@Bold Exactly if one looks at it from Virat's perspective, would not be too much that even after wanting to wait/stop the marriage Sayee goes ahead and gets them married secretly. He would have the fear of Pulkit not being the right man for Devi..Anyone in his position would be. His anger would also be a result of Sayee taking an impulsive decision, she could have waited for the investigation to happen or investigate it herself. Her know it all attitude is also to blame for. Where she goes for the kill without caring about anyone..not even Virat. From Virat's perspective Sayee would have destroyed his Tai's life, who right now is not in great health. With no time to understand/analyse/investigate he would make decisions on what is present to him
