I used to read quite a few romance novels till about 5 years ago, so they no longer hold any appeal.

That's a good way to put it😆

I wish I could gobble books too. Only a few books are worth savouring. The rest are meant to be gobbled.

Question

Since all of you read or have read quite a few books, do you remember the storyline of books you have read maybe a couple of years ago or is it forgotten a few months later?

As Shreya said, I too remember the main plot only. If it is something that deeply touched me, then I remember minor details for a few years or beyond. But I almost always forget character names. Most of the time I don't even remember the lead(s)' names, except in some cases. Like, I can never forget Darcy, Elizabeth Bennet, Poirot, Miss Marple or Sherlock Holmes, etc.

I'd like that too. I've heard so much praise about BA Paris in this group, now I'm really curious about her works.

Finally finished reading Shipped. I am sorry I made you’ll read the book. It was below average and absolutely meh as far I was concerned. The characters and plot were wafer thin and completely lacking substance.
I’d give it 1.5 to 2 stars.

@Hinna: Behind Closed Doors was a good book, not great. I recently read a book called The Last Mrs. Parrish that seemed to have lifted the main plot twist from Behind Closed Doors.

It’s like a comic; a whole story is presented in the form of a comic.
