Dadi: So Shaurya what have you decided now?
Shaurya: dadi I am ok with whatever mom dad and you decide.
Aastha: maa I was thinking do we really need go ahead with this, I mean I don’t think Anokhi can adjust here. (Winking at Shaan)
Shaurya: what do you mean mom why can’t she adjust here? What’s all this?
All end up laughing and Shaurya realizes that they were pulling his leg. Parth hugs him saying that you all have got your answer now and asks pandit ji to talk to them.
Shaan: pandit ji you give me Ashish ji’s number, I will talk to him myself.
Bhalla House:
Ashish: so Anokhi what have you decided? Your mother and me are okay with this relation. They are a very nice family and Shaurya too seems to be a good man, but the final decision will be yours.
Anokhi: papa I don’t have any problem if you and mama are ok with this.
Aarti: yes yes. Wow I am so happy.
Shagun: relax they haven’t said anything yet.
Aarti: of course they will say yes, who can say no to my Nikki di.
After some time Ashish receives a call
Ashish: hello, who’s this?
Shaan: Namaste Ashish ji,Shaan Sabharwal here.
Ashish: sorry, I didn’t have your number.
Shaan: its ok. I took your number from pandit ji and thought I should talk to you myself.
Ashish: is everything ok.
Shaan: yes everything is fine. I wanted to say that we are ready for this marriage. I hope you have talked to Anokhi.
Ashish: yes we too are ready for it.
Shaan: that’s a good news. Then I will ask the pandit ji to look for the date. Actually maa wants this marriage to happen soon that’s before Shaurya’s 30th birthday.
Ashish: that’s ok. You talk to the pandit ji and let us know.
Ashish calls out for Shagun, Anokhi and Aarti and informs them that Sabharwals are ready for the marriage. Ashish hugs his daughter as he gets emotional.
Anokhi: Aarti come with me. I have to talk to you. See I don’t want any of your tantrums on what I am going to say. I am very serious.
Aarti; whats it di you are scaring me?
Anokhi: you are not going to tell anyone about this marriage at college, not a single soul. Am I clear? No one means no one.
Aarti: but why?
Anokhi: there are two reasons. One he is your professor and he still remains so. I don’t want people in your college thinking that he is your jiju and you are taking undue advantage of it and second, which is more important and you are well aware of it but I think you have forgotten.
Aarti: oh crap, I had actually forgotten about it Nikki di. Honestly the first one didn’t cross my mind but the second one I remember now. Promise nobody will know a thing.
Anokhi: ok come now I need to talk to papa about something.
Aarti: ok
Anokhi: papa I have a request can we have simple marriage. I do not want any lavish ceremonies and a jam packed wedding.
Shagun: Nikki beta you are getting married in Sabharwal house, of course they have some expectations and it’s the last wedding in their house. So…
Anokhi: so what maa, papa can at least talk to them.
Sabharwal House
Aastha: Shaan what are you thinking? Did you talk to Pandit ji?
Shaan: I did Noor, but I am thinking about what Shaurya said. Do you think they will agree?
Aastha: I know they might find it awkward but we can at least convey it to them. If they don’t agree then we can talk Shaurya out of this thought.
Shaan: you are right I will call Ashish ji.
Ashish: hello, Shaan ji
Shaan: hello Ashish ji, Iwanted to talk to you about something. It’s actually about Shaurya. I don’t know how to say this, I know its first marriage in your house and you would have lots of things in your mind. I don’t any problem with anything, it’s just that Shaurya wants a simple wedding. If you will talk to him, he won’t deny you.
Ashish (laughing): you can’t imagine what burden of mine you have eased out.
Shaan: sorry but I didn’t get you???
Ashish: actually Anokhi said the same thing to me that she wants a simple wedding and I didn’t have the courage to tell you this but now that you have said it. We have no problem at all. I had thought you won’t agree as it’s the last wedding in your house. Thank you so much.
Shaan: also Shuarya has said that if we could skip the engagement thing and do the wedding directly. He doesn’t want to waste time of his students by taking off from the college.
Ashish: that’s fine. I guess Anokhi has found a groom who thinks exactly like her. Also what about the date?
Shaan: I had told you that maa wants the wedding to happen before Shaurya’s birthday which if four months from now. Pandit ji has given two dates one is a month later and the other is 5 months later. If you are ready for next month then…
Ashish: it’s fine. We will manage.
Shaan: ok
Shaan informs everyone about the conversation he had with Ashish and all are delighted that everything is sorted and Parth and Kajal congratulate Shaurya.
Devi: maa please, why are you getting impressed. All this is a drama of simple wedding and all. The point is they cannot match our standards.
Dadi: I think you are forgetting Devi, they didn’t come to us with the proposal, we went their with this proposal. So please.
Parth: maa if you can’t be happy about something, then please keep quite.
On the other hand Aastha signals Shaurya to not say anything to Devi and he leaves the place to avoid any argument with his Badi maa. He heads to his room and thinks about should he inform Aarti that she shouldn’t react tomorrow in college as he doesn’t want to disclose about his marriage yet. He then decides against it and lets it go.
Next day in college everything goes smoothly as Shaurya had thought. He behaved normally and so did Aarti.
2 Days Later
Parth: what’s up bro?What are you doing? Texting Anokhi
Shaurya: why would I?
Parth: are you trying to tell me that its been two since your marriage date was fixed and you haven’t talked to Anokhi.
Shaurya: yes, I haven’t. Was I supposed to?
Parth: oh please,,, stop lying to me. Let me check.
Shaurya: fine take it.
Parth: are you serious,you don’t have her number.
Shaurya: I told you.
Parth: Chachiii, chachiii
Aastha: what happened Parth, I am downstairs come here.
Parth: chachi please tel lme when Shaurya was born he fell off from the bed and hit his head. Please say yes.
Dadi: shut up why you are talking like that.
Parth: because dadi can you imagine, he doesn’t have Anokhi’s number in his phone and he hasn’t talked to her since he met her at her house.
Dadi: what?? Is he right?
Shaurya: yes dadi, but was I supposed to?
Parth: chachi app mujhko please maar dalo. Your son is impossible. Let me save her number in your phone because I don’t trust you.
Parth saves Anokhi’s number in the phone and opens whats app to text her without telling Shaurya. He returns the phone to Shaurya while giving a naughty smile to Aastha.
Aastha: what have you done Parth? I know that smile of yours.
Parth: wait chachi, you will find out soon.
Shaurya: what??
They hear a message tone and Parth informs Shaurya that he has received message. Parth goes near Shaurya to see the message and bursts out laughing when he sees the message. All get surprised as to what happened to him and Aastha asks the same to him.
Parth: chachi you have found the perfect girl for him. There is no denying that now.
Shaan: what happened tell us now?
Parth: chachu I texted Anokhi form Shaurya’s number and you know what was her reply.
Shaan: what??
Parth: who’s this?? This was the reply. 
And everyone ends up laughing while Shaurya leaves the place embarrassed.
