I feel that Promod has understood DP better than anyone else and he doesn’t want susheela to lose her family... she herself says that her family won’t support her dreams.

If her husband agrees to let her be an actress maybe DP will also agree.... well that could be his reasoning, but I also don’t think a wedding is going to happen so soon

Although I also wouldn’t mind more sumod lovetrack :)
