I had assumed the Baigs to be educated and sensible adults. But they turned out to be quite disappointing. Instead of controlling Vashma they should have kept a check on Abrar, knowing fully well his connection with the league. And if he was given the freedom to choose his liking, why wasn't Vashma? In the episode where they showed Zahida and Iqbal talking about Vashma's marriage, he stated that they won't go ahead without considering her opinion. Even though Zahida did not agree, wasn't her responsibility now to talk to Iqbal about Vashmay? And where was the girl's father when all this fiasco took place?
