Isn't that the prerogative of creatives how they wanna eke out a scene? I don't think ph interfere in day to day running of the show unless there is something seriously wrong.

IMO, Virat is physically attracted to Sai but he doesn't want to claim her until he believes she is ready for this relationship on every level physically and emotionally. He is more disappointed when she doesn't reciprocate and acknowledge his care and concern. He is a complete gentleman in that sense to not cross his boundaries when they are in the same bed . It's like the forbidden fruit that they want to have it.

Our ITV audiences are trained to believe consummation cannot happen before confession. Forget TRP audiences even online ones are not ready to see a consummation before confession. Even in fan fictions writers don't take risk by having them consummate like a normal couple in the real world would before confession. I don't think the audience is ready for a mature love story yet.
