Anushka Eliminated !!!!! - Page 2

More than the elimination the bottom 5 have shocked me.

I understand that Anushka didn’t have a big fan base (I’m judging basis Instagram followers and mentions on Twitter). But no way Nihal and Sawai got better scores and more votes that Nachiket, Ashish and Sireesha.

She didn't deserve to go this early... they are saving singers like Nihal and eliminating Anushka.. I mean WTHMOFUs......

If there are two contestant from same state, one always looses because audience will only vote for one. Check the historical voting in any reality show.

The entire system of choosing the bottom 5 based on judges' marks and then eliminating based on Public Votes is flawed. SMP and Nihal will never get eliminated in this way as judges will never give them less marks. I'm sure SMP might be receiving less votes from Public than most of the contestants !!

we have 3 or 4 contestants from Maha state. Is that why they are at the bottom

Which state is Sireesha from? Andhra?

Yes, I think Sireesha is from Andhra Pradesh.

Sireesha and SMP are both from Visakhpatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Isn’t that where Indian Idol 9 winner Revanth was also from?

Also, as someone has said earlier - when there are 2 people from the same state, usually one goes out faster, probably because of division of votes.

Yes, Revanth is also from Visakhapatnam. Looks like we have basically 4 groups.. Maharashtra, Bengal area, South (Andhra Pradesh) and North. So we can hope to see one from each region. My guesses are SNP, Ashish Kulkarni, Dhanish/Pavandeep, and Arunita. I feel like Arunita is the only one guaranteed to have a place in the final and rest have still to struggle.
