Because he's not got a tharki mind like pakhi even if he does spoil and pamper her. 😆 He knows that it looks wrong for pakhi to want to go alone on a trip with her married devar and to have an issue if the devar wants to bring his wife too.

Problem is they don’t reprimand her for her harkatein. They give dirty looks to Sai as if she is the other woman 😒

They don't know what she does at home. Also, they are not aware of her association with Bhavani in planning & plotting against Sai.

They are under the impression that Sai is mannerless & see what Pakhi wants to show them. In the Tamil version, they reprimanded her, but that track came late. Vaishali also told her to go to dogs for throwing their temper on Sai.

I get what you are saying any parents will support their child and it’s true they are not aware of the equations that’s in the CN.

But they are aware of Pakhi still pining for Virat and expecting things from him as if she is his wife. That they can make her understand and help her move on.

If they were really a good parents they would have stopped the wedding saying the path she was taking is wrong and the pagalpan she was talking about is her own doom ( but we wouldn’t have a story now 😉). And their daughter might be heartbroken now but overtime she will overcome it.

Pakhi's mom forced her, but her dad told her to think over it again. Also, Virat himself told her to move on with his brother as he didn't want to disappoint his brother. When Pakhi called him, she should have told him about herself, at least for the formality.

But she kept mum which pissed him off.

She blocked his number & didn't even wait for him.

And even if her parents tell her to move on or focus on her career, she won't listen.
