Reposting my Devi theory from other thread.

True she treats the other ladies of the house shabily to keep them on the toe be it Kanchan or Gayatri. Only Astha stood up to her and she hates that. And I think there more layers to why that is. Why she feels she can't exist without Shaurya. Remember she legally tried for Shaurya to be her Son but Astha refused to sign. So may be she can't become mother and the entire property would go to first heir ie Shaurya who is legally Shaan and Astha's son and Devi and Tej wants him to be their legally and after all he is a blood relative.

I agree with you. I had posted a similar theory in another thread a few days back. All of Devi's machinations and manipulations are stemming from her insecurity.

A patriarchal household where the bahus are treated like dirt would not even acknowledge the existence of a woman who has not borne a child. I am sure Devi had to bear a lot of taunts from her in laws because of her childlessness. Whether the problem was with Devi or Tej, I don't know. Devi's only way to maintain her position in the Sabharwal house was by becoming the custodian of their outdated values and assuming the role of Shaurya's mother. Shaurya, being the eldest son had to uphold these values to keep their false pride alive. Perhaps that is why Tej and Devi found an opportunity when Aastha left and snatched Shaurya away. They never allowed her to meet him to keep him out of her influence. Little did they know another free bird would come and shake their Sinhasan.

Yeah, I felt the same. Because Devi is shown manipulating Shaurya against his mother for sure but she has also been shown genuinely worried for Shaurya.

I think Tej has something under covers.

And, I wonder why aren't they giving any screen space to Kanchan's husband. Maybe he'll be given some purpose later.

In the regional version of SAAKK [ Malayalam remake ];

• Devi is negative and she even arrange goons and kidnaps Aastha so that she doesn't come back to Saberwal House.

• And yeah, there's no Kanchan or her husband. Gayatri has only two daughters.
• Shaan arranges one of their guest houses for Aastha to stay in the same city as that of Saberwal House. And, our Anokhi stays with Aastha 🤗

The problem is, though stems from same core plot, the remakes follow different storyline. And, Tej's character in the Malayalam version is a good-for-nothing comic one.

I've high hopes for SAAKK. Let's see.

I feel shaan kind of knows Tej is the actual villain

He must have seen the plight of Devi and is sympathetic to her so he is so obligated to listen to his bhabhi and not retaliate against her or take her stand

Btw I hate the defeated look on shaan always 🤢

Devi’s insecurity is to the level of anxiety that it does not let her mind to rest

She is either poisoning shaurya ‘s mind or bossing over others

Looking at the level of the patriarchy stint in all 3 house holds bhallas, Bhatias & sabharwal s

So it must be that she is pretending to sing the same song the sabharwal men do so that her position is safe

Ohh! Actually the Marathi version has just started since now they are not even have done with Anokhi's admission? I guess as 1 work time telecast and promo's actor was so bakwaas I didn't even wanted to watch and haven't watch even a single episode........

While here promo was intriguing which was the reason I initially started to watch..........

Btw can you tell me does Shaurya comes to know Vineet tries to molest Anokhi?

If yes how? And what was his reaction?

In Malayalam version, there's no Vineet as of now. It has been shown from the beginning that Anokhi's elder sister lives with Anokhi and her family because she had some problem with her husband. In Malayalam version, all the members of Anokhi's family are positive characters and loves and support Anokhi. And yet why Anokhi runs away from home is because, Anokhi's father was indebted to a rich friend of his. After the death of that rich man, his goon son sets eyes on Anokhi and wants to marry her. Because he believes that if he marry Anokhi in some particular day, he'll be blessed with more fortune and good luck. He threatens Anokhi and her family and even beats her father. Anokhi agrees to marry out of no choice and on the wedding day Babli helps her to run away. In Malayalam version, Aastha used to be the teacher of Babli too and hence she sent Anokhi to Aastha's house. Even after Anokhi gets into college, that guy and his goons are behind her, searching for her.

So, no Vineet 😌 And, Babli's hero is her cousin who used to a goon. This cousin later kidnaps Aastha for money, without knowing that Aastha is the teacher who helped their Anokhi. It's Devi who asks to kidnap Aastha but in the end Babli comes to know about all these mess up and saves Aastha.
