Reviews are pretty mixed, but my most trusted reviews gave it 1-2*

Given that, and the fact that Didi was reading it, I removed it from my list🤣🤣🤣

Whatever Pakhi does, we avoid itšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

But coming to Didi. If they added it just to tell us what she's reading so that we finally find some context to her one-expression face ,then it was a good move 🤣🤣 since she has been harping about her reading habits often.

I've read the entire series. It's basically one of the many 'Cinderella stories'. This one is another such version.

The Lunar Chronicles is a better version according to me. As far as Cinderella retelling goes.

It's plain romance in a dystopian setting.

I read it few years back. Read it if you're into romance. It does get dragged out in parts but sweet romance. It's not mind-blowing but it's a good way to pass time.

The book is to place on her head, so she can practice the art of being still and creep out from corners without anyone spotting her....it's helping the mind in different ways.

I agree completely! It's not a bad read for a teen but nothing great about it as well. 100% agree on lunar chronicles too. I enjoyed it better than the selection series.

Coming to Pakhi reading this, guess what the author has in common with Pakhi!? She couldn't take criticism either. After a negative review from one of the popular book bloggers (Wendy darling) the author and her agent started name-calling and doxxing the blogger. The author also asked other author friends and fans to dislike her review and like the positive reviews on goodreads so that the negative one gets buried. They harassed Wendy a lot too and asked her to apologize. Does this remind you guys of anyone!?šŸ˜†

After reading the synopsis the Prince in this context sounds more like Samrat for PP. Where she has a lover and she has to decide if she wants to give the prince a chance.

I guess one of the writers could be reading it for inspiration šŸ˜† one of my cousins is a screen writer and worked on a mythological show a few years ago. They had researched and drawn up characters for four years, even paying one guy for playing Krishna for four years so that he doesn't sign up any other show until they go on floors... I can't recall his name or the name of the show šŸ˜‘
