Varun's performance and the songs ❤️

Judaai is a haunting melody. I hope in reality no one has to witness their loved ones getting killed, it can haunt a person till his/her death.

Only the first few minutes jolted me down. Extremely sad to see losing someone. It was directed so well.

Rest of the movie felt diluted. It should have been more gruesome. Varun Dhawan acted beautifully his best performance for sure.

Hard-hitting, bleak, dark and twisted are the words which come to mind when I have to describe this movie.

Varun did a great job and music was extremely true to the spirit of the movie.

I have yet to watch this movie but get put off every time I try by the gruesomeness in the opening few minutes.

I have a soft corner for gray characters. And Badlapur had two of them. There's plenty to dislike about both of them. Yet both tug your heartstrings at other times too. Huma is the one I feel more sorry for. Yet she stands tall despite all that life (and the two men) throws at her. Makes you question whether you can truly atone for your wrong actions? Who really deserves a second chance ? And do the two (redemption and second chance) go together. The film says no.
