This is what I feel about the issue. I still feel 6 mons extension was given to the show. Or else I don't see why they CVS would have done so much filler with the Shera track. And even this ghost track is largely is just filler. Now, I do feel this show won't get any extensions past the summer because it is not performing well, but I think we all expected that.
Next thing is that for shows to go off air and be replaced, new shows need to be lined up. I know ZeeTV has announced some new shows. But it takes time for show to go from development to production and then come on air. Take for example, Pyaar Ke Uss Par, that was announced in October of last year. Till this day, there has been no news about the show and its been 4/5 months. No leads confirmed, no promos. So I would say, wait for some shows to start production.
If I were guess, I think the new Ekta show, Bhagyalakshmi, will be first to come on air as her PH has many resources and I feel it will take the 8:30pm time slot as her other shows are occupying all other time slots. I feel QH will go off air and we will get QH's time slot. May be a good thing for us as that time slot is less competitive, so if issue is timeslot then there are chances for us to do well. ZeeTV is going for a big revamp and will be replacing all of its shows except the Bhagyas and APTBA, that's what I feel.
So yes, I do feel like THR is wrapping up and after this SamThu track, we may see one more track showing Moksh going to school and KalMa's career and KalMa having their own child and Moksh dealing with insecurities.
Reason for low TRPs is that CVS have messed up the story. Since S2, CVS have had no idea where they wanted to take the story. They have soo many loose ends that the story is disjointed now. No track has been good from start to end since Kethki track in Aug 2019.
I feel Shera track could have got some traction but as usual, CVS messed it up. There was no big reveal that Shera was Malhar, no climax to Shera track. All the lead up was for Asha's reveal LOL and after that, auidence lost interest. I don't know how CVS thought they can get good TRPs showing Malhar and Shera as alag alag and not giving any answers to where Malhar was. Plus, even now, we don't know what happened to Avni and AnuSar are not reconciling.
That's why Malhar's return and SR has no impact. CVS can't just show romance for TRPs. CVS need to show a good story. They didn't even address Swara's diary yet. Malhar was so angry abour that for no reason, somehow AS never confessed to it and Malhar never even apologized for treating Kalyani so badly. Many fans and viewers have left the show due to issues like this.
