In the donghua, when Bi Bi Dong finds out Xiao Wu actually identity she tries to get her spirit, as she 10,000 year soul beast. They ended in middle of the story, there is a lot to tell. Tang Hao despite being injured is even more powerful then Bi Bi Dong. He tells her to leave so they both can become powerful and later meet in the future.
it is like a small portion of big story.. quite enjoyable especially epi 20 onwards ..show focusses on journey of seven students, their training and how they become great spirit masters. Its a fantasy world of spirit masters and spirit beasts. entire donghua is available to watch it seems.

Finished watching. Final battle was absolutely thrilling to watch.
The last scene of Xiao Wu and Tang San made me very sad especially because Tang San never opened his eyes at all and tears kept falling through his face
I feel I enjoyed this show especially last 15 episodes. There is lot of potential for season 2 , but we might not get it seems
Overall am a happy viewer of this series.
Will miss the cast and show !!!

Watch the donghua 1st, as its more detailed when comes to characters and story. Then watch the drama,I was curious how it looked in life action, not bad expected the changes.
Donghua has about 144 episodes, as they release one episode per week.

Donghua is still ongoing, they release one episode on Saturdays and the episode are 16 min long. I would suggest you to watch the donghua if you want to know the detailed storyline and all characters back story
