Qaid hona bhi nahi chahiye. Btw have you guys read The Library Girl? The story of Talat and how her burqa gives her a unique perspective on life? https://one-with-the-pages.blogspot.com/2011/11/one-with-many-tales.html?m=1

Some women see it as giving them the freedom to roam around in public and talk to others without having to worry about any buri nazar (my friend Khizzu does believe so) while some see it as curbing independance since it hides their identity.

It depends on whether they chose it for themselves or if its forced upon them.... I know ladies who chose to wear it despite their husbands /families disliking it... There are girls who are forced to wear it too.... Personally i don't like to cover my face, even the masks are suffocating for me.... Here in the middle east, local women prefers to wear it in front of stranger men.

In Vashma's case, she or her mother hardly wears it... So she's definitely not interested.... I am surprised actually that Farooq gifted it to her.... His mother was not wearing it too... And vashma didn't even cover her head during the function and they had no objection... Its contradictory.

Atleast we could see how he wishes to cut her wings and put her in a cage ~ the pardah system was prevalent in Hindus too.

Judaai ka gham saha na jayega, kya inka ishq mukammal ho payega?
