So finally Virat cleared the question we have been asking - When did Nagesh Chavan die? But it is certain then that Nagesh Chavan was most likely not around when Devyani was separated from Pulkit.
From the minor mention of Nagesh Chavan, it seems like he doted on the children of the house because losing him has been difficult for them -- or may be they were too young to not be impressed by his personality. The whole back story of the Bhavani Ninad and Ashwini saga is very important to establish their true nature and I hope with the Devyani track some of this is also revealed.
Virat's reassurance that Sai has indeed become stronger after losing her father was something she needed to hear. And what a bonus that she also heard him say, "samajhdaar". Chalo, some samajhdaari is also rubbing off on Chavan saheb. But it was a moment when Sai really needed a hug. The poor dew-drop has been through so much and there's going to be no end soon... In that moment, did Virat glance at the pillows of Sinhagadh between them to remember that it cannot be crossed yet or was it just me feeling so?
The explanation of 'humein akela kar dete hain taaki hum aur bhi mazboot bane' was ominous -- both unaware that it will soon happen to both of them ... Makes me wonder, if Virat had not married Sai and if she had been left alone following her suicide attempt, what would have been her motivation to live a new life? Yes, she did have a dream that was also Aaba's dream but at the end of the day, finding one's purpose in life is important. Living alone is absolutely possible and there are a million people who live alone, happy and find their calling in life but it is only when living alone is out of a conscious choice and not because one is driven by situations. Not everyone who lives alone is lonely but not everyone who lives alone finds their solitude either... And being lonely and living in solitude are two different things.
For Sai, coming out of the depression that losing her father had caused, would have been difficult alone. While the marriage has brought along a huge package of added stress that she would have been happier without, Sai by nature is not a loner -- may be Virat is. Sai would have made friends but may be not close enough to feel like "family". I guess Virat's being in her life helped her become 'stronger' faster -- the initial incidents in their marriage where he stood for her and fought for her definitely added to her sense of self worth as a person. Sometimes we cannot choose the situation we are in but as much as it may seem to harm us, it also does something good. In finding family in Ashwini and camaraderie in Shivani and Devyani, Sai got a reason to fight. A depressed person and a lonely one may not want to put in the effort to fight -- for whom should it be done? But Sai's inherent insaafpasand nature actually helped her see the toxicity and injustice around and gave her a distraction to find her confidence again.
It also applies to Virat -- he had vowed to live alone by choice. But again, his choice was made in a moment of impulsive promise to diffuse a tricky situation and not out of a thought process of reason. His promise to live alone was more a promise to suffer alone as 'punishment' to allow someone else to delight in his suffering. Was it a worthy reason for choosing loneliness (I won't call it solitude)? May be with passing years, Virat would have also compromised with the situation and been 'happy' being alone but making Sai a part of his life has given him a reason to see why his choice was not going to be easy or practical. Virat definitely seeks Sai's companionship. Sai's presence has made him want more of the togetherness -- he seeks a partner because his 'living alone' was never a conscious choice. He had taken it upon himself for the wrong reasons.
Also, Sai's presence in his life has finally made him realise that there is something he cannot let go of -- a trait that he has been known for: self sacrificing. Sai has challenged everything that he thought he knew about himself and made him rethink subconsciously, changing the choice he made.

Mohit has found his voice. And a voice of reason. "Why can't I put forth my view as a member of this house?" What a pertinent question. He is actually the other 'mard' of the conceited clan but is treated like a 'bhondu' as Bhavani described. It was significant that Bhavani blamed Ashwini's teachings for Mohit's newfound voice of 'dissent'. It did seem like Omkar and Sonali have done very little to raise Mohit. So, it might be true after all that Ashwini has been the official nanny for the children -- instilling values and feeding their minds as much as their stomachs.
Ashwini's retort - Acchai Acchai ko Dekh Kar khud chali aati hai -- is golden words. The soul force team always gets bigger as the soul resonates the reason with the other...Mohit has heard that voice finally.
The Makad Sena only needs one of the Makads to start asking questions and jumping at someone and all the monkeys follow blindly. Nothing new. Their angst about Virat feeding Sai food in the space of their bedroom was laugh worthy. Because Statue of Susheelta could not control her feeling of envy and so had to spit out the overdose of her own venom -- Virat instantly knew who was the snake. One doesn't need to even mention that Sai knew it too 😅
The exact Five-step pattern that Patralekha follows every single time:
1. she passes on the information in a manner she knows will instigate
2. the entire Makad sena will join in condemning the action to support Bhavani's disapproval
3. The 'guilty party' will arrive and face a volley of taunts and questions about anushashan and kayda niyam

What exactly is so blasphemous about Sai and Virat eating a meal in their room? It definitely can't be 'bahar ka khana'.. it's about 'how could you eat'? Don't you know that we only cook food and donate to the poor because we cannot eat meals in this house. We only survive on beizzati and breathe insults on each other. How dare you try to eat real food? The only time there can be a celebration with cupcakes and pastry cake to accompany paramparik Marathi khaana is when the chaheeta beta of Chavan niwas keeps the 'maan of Chavan niwas ke mardon ki maryaada' and anyone not confirming to the maryaada cannot eat a meal.

Ab whoever has experienced spousal relationship instantly knew the meaning of it -- except the news reporter herself and may be Ninad. The information was enough to know what PP did not repeat here: 'Aakhir Sai jeet gayi' because according to Queen Bhavani, this had to have been the moment when "Sai koi aisi Galti karegi...."
Patralekha's 'loneliness' can never turn into a feeling of "solitude" because she lacks the basic conviction of having self motivating thoughts. Her emotional dependence on someone else for deriving the feeling of self worth is too strong for her to have any purpose in life and seek solitude.
So it's official that no one -- no one -- can get over the Ladakh fiasco. The honeymoon planners cannot overcome the fact that the mauka parasth biwi ruined their plans and the 'wife' is rightfully sour about the constant reminder about the same from those who have no right whatsoever to question. So Bhavani brings up Ladakh again.

She's a bahu who never got to know her husband, there is a shady past she has with the other son of the house and she's doing nothing better than brewing her extoxic tea with salt added for variation of flavour sometimes.
