Here comes my apparent controversial view on KUDCA... 😈

First of all, the Kiranbala-Amrit scenario:

Let's forget for one moment that KB & Mogar are the villains here. Would it really be a good step for Ratan to accept Randheer's proposal for Amrit???

Rejection of a proposal is a big thing. Yes, in 2021 we have options but even now, if we are quite sure about settling down and then suddenly a boy tells us on our face we are not their choice, it would be humiliating for us even if for a mini second.

You are getting prepared for your marriage and suddenly you learn the guy has chosen your sister/cousin - that would be an extremely embarrassing situation and more importantly it'll shatter your confidence. Specially when you know that cousin is more beautiful.

Watched a movie once on this topic and there the girl lost her mental balance - it was that traumatic for the girl.

So is it really that easy for Pagdi Uncle to officiate AmDheer's marriage or is it really ethical?

The only reason we sympathize with Amrit is because she tried to maintain her distance & despite knowing the situation Mogar tried to force the relationship which has now led to this catastrophe.

But from Pagdi Uncle's POV, is it easy?

In a normal scenario it isn't. However here he is more concerned about his WORD and practically takes pride in his Purane Sanskar - the only reason I find him a pain in the ass.

Secondly, the upcoming RadhAy fiasco & Brij's POV:

I hate myself for saying this but the way he learned the earring stuck on Uday's kurta was Radha's, don't you think it would make anyone a bit uncomfortable?

I am not trying to justify Brij or dying for his redemption so that BriDha can happen but seriously, don't you think the idea of our partners will never doubt us is actually impractical? We are human and we have vice. Brij already has his complex regarding his handicapped state. Uday who couldn't stand Radha until yesterday has suddenly accepted her & he has found them guarding some secret. Any normal person would doubt it.

And again it's us who know how BHOLA both Uday & Radha are but Brij doesn't.

It's an extremely vile allegation but even earlier when women wouldn't express, they were subjected to domestic violence. Some got molested by other family members. People who were of the same age did get involve in elicit relationships.

The idea of either Uday or Radha involving with each other is dreadful but during 1940s when you find such two people in such weird situation, wouldn't you doubt them even if for a mini second.

The only reason I feel Brij gets the additional bashing because his vices haven't been romanticized. I do think he is a decent enough guy because in Episode 2 when Vashma hid the hockey under her stole, Brij looked away immediately.

He is no saint either because he there was only LUST when he got married to Radha. But once he got to know her, he was developing a soft spot for her, even happily accepted his entire family.

So is Brij really that bad or is it really that uncommon to doubt RadhAy?

Exactly... We are sensible enough to enjoy each and every character unless they do something idiotic. And Madam A and "BV Ke Pyaare Ray" have tenancies of being idiotic. So, I have my fingers crossed...

Wish we got a D-R scene too... I am missing their jalebi talks.

😆

Okay... will definitely reply when I am free.

Posted it. 😎

I am going for now bahen. Will be back later. See ya! 🤗

Nope. TBH, the leads' portion of Mutant show so far is within the limit. The guy is typical Ekta hero but so far no toxic masculinity and the girl is confident and smart - both academically and in real life scenario. Last episode they did introduce a probably hot dance sequence but genuinely felt weird. 🤔

I was talking about Shaurya & Mehendi as you mentioned to Nikki. 😆

Oh yeah! Have read the tweet and I am kind of laughing at it right now. I would say these people need shows like Mutant because the FL had a dialogue like she was an orphan and even if she died, no one would shed tear for her. 😭

Considering involving family is such a huge issue, leads should always be orphan, no? 😉

On a side note, gotta talk a lot about KUDCA because I am not sure if my view would math the others.

Will post a separate reply shortly. 😈

Good to know!! Ohh.

Okay, lol. Fir sahi hai!!

Exactly!! Glad to know, totally waah...these ppl love that shaurya show, socho..ya typical things.

Okay.

I expected you to right on these 2 points.

Firstly yes, this was tough and hence people used to advice other sisters to not come in front of the guy till marriage is done, but here from start Randheer is showed to be open minded. For Amrit's dad, of course it's a complex situation and he is right from his perspective and Randheer is right from his.

We don't sympathize only cos of that with Amrit, there are many things, but she even talked about alliance with him and Mogar and KB and apologized to them. Now of course, a breaking alliance is never been easy, has it's set of complexities.

Also they didn't even have any conversation here, and KB didn't even bother to discuss anything or writing or making an effort, even if we forget she's the villain as you mentioned.

About Brij Radha, yes in some ways as they had hinted it. But Brij keeps doubting her always, isn't that too much? Like after the Maa thing, shouldn't he too have taken efforts in having a conversation with Uday? Yes, he is developing a soft corner for her, but he should trust too...

You know me too well. 😆

Exactly! That's why I said it's a complex situation and I wouldn't dare posting this comment openly because of the fear of

🥿👞👟👠👡👢

And again my mood spoiled because of the precap. Mogar it is beginning to seem like is more interested in ruining Amrit's happiness than doing something good for KB. Otherwise she must know how it would affect KB's future if her alliance gotten broken publicly. When Raizaada's paid the visit, she should have ended the matter right there. But no, she's gonna probably try to fasao Randheer in molestation charge of KB as they have released an elaborate promo.

About Uday, Radha & Brij - this is even more confusing to me. After the entire MAA fiasco he should have concentrated on his family. But he is busy doubting Radha.

And call it my bias but I feel horrible for Radha that whatever happens, they always blame her and bring her background be it theft or her beating Uday and now this...

It's like on one hand I want to give Brij some lease but he just keeps disappointing. 😒

I wish Uday and Radha had disowned him if he actually blames them for this but I don't think in 1947 a woman specially an orphan was in the position to leave her husband's house.

Ofc I do! Koi shak tha?!

Yes, that's my issue too. Last time too isne ye kiya tha and promos toh I hardly see, friends se samajte hai.

Of course dear, exactly. About beating Uday, tbh anyone would actually blame her, cos no one in the household beats kids even normally, and she beat him black and blue in front of everyone, so families blaming her was well justified. As you said, we knew Radha was trying to save him but others didn't.

Both are too good to do that!

No no that's not what I meant. After all, her sole intention was to divert the attention towards herself. I had issue with the choice of words like - Nale mein haat daloge to haat mein to kichar hi lagenge.

It was a bit too much. Other than that step mother and all were perfectly okay.

Yeah, both are way too good for that. 😒
