Here comes my apparent controversial view on KUDCA... 😈
First of all, the Kiranbala-Amrit scenario:
Let's forget for one moment that KB & Mogar are the villains here. Would it really be a good step for Ratan to accept Randheer's proposal for Amrit???
Rejection of a proposal is a big thing. Yes, in 2021 we have options but even now, if we are quite sure about settling down and then suddenly a boy tells us on our face we are not their choice, it would be humiliating for us even if for a mini second.
You are getting prepared for your marriage and suddenly you learn the guy has chosen your sister/cousin - that would be an extremely embarrassing situation and more importantly it'll shatter your confidence. Specially when you know that cousin is more beautiful.
Watched a movie once on this topic and there the girl lost her mental balance - it was that traumatic for the girl.
So is it really that easy for Pagdi Uncle to officiate AmDheer's marriage or is it really ethical?
The only reason we sympathize with Amrit is because she tried to maintain her distance & despite knowing the situation Mogar tried to force the relationship which has now led to this catastrophe.
But from Pagdi Uncle's POV, is it easy?
In a normal scenario it isn't. However here he is more concerned about his WORD and practically takes pride in his Purane Sanskar - the only reason I find him a pain in the ass.
Secondly, the upcoming RadhAy fiasco & Brij's POV:
I hate myself for saying this but the way he learned the earring stuck on Uday's kurta was Radha's, don't you think it would make anyone a bit uncomfortable?
I am not trying to justify Brij or dying for his redemption so that BriDha can happen but seriously, don't you think the idea of our partners will never doubt us is actually impractical? We are human and we have vice. Brij already has his complex regarding his handicapped state. Uday who couldn't stand Radha until yesterday has suddenly accepted her & he has found them guarding some secret. Any normal person would doubt it.
And again it's us who know how BHOLA both Uday & Radha are but Brij doesn't.
It's an extremely vile allegation but even earlier when women wouldn't express, they were subjected to domestic violence. Some got molested by other family members. People who were of the same age did get involve in elicit relationships.
The idea of either Uday or Radha involving with each other is dreadful but during 1940s when you find such two people in such weird situation, wouldn't you doubt them even if for a mini second.
The only reason I feel Brij gets the additional bashing because his vices haven't been romanticized. I do think he is a decent enough guy because in Episode 2 when Vashma hid the hockey under her stole, Brij looked away immediately.
He is no saint either because he there was only LUST when he got married to Radha. But once he got to know her, he was developing a soft spot for her, even happily accepted his entire family.
So is Brij really that bad or is it really that uncommon to doubt RadhAy?
