I miss Umera and Farhat's drama.Umera writes her character with deep spiritual thoughts which slowly unfolds through the journey.Farhat to me is like Jane Austin beautifully build up in character in stigma with strength and morality with times.Both the writers knows to give due credits to the character growth and interlink the story to carry on.Being missing their dramas for ages now.

Both are hard to get by.They don't sell their script easily.Hardly,one script a year.😕

I agree. I can see this in dramas written for GEO. But I think good writers shouldn't surrender to channel demands. I don't know why I feel that the main reason behind Dil Na Umeed To Nahin not airing on any of the top channels is that its makers didn't want to compromise on their product.

They should be given creative liberties to their own script.Why should they? But yes,Faiza's interview clearly depicts channel wants their own way to gain max popularity or numbers.

they dont gain much by writing for small channels hence quality is compromised over money

Sadly,but the truth.Everyone wants to make a living and for some this is the only way of earning for them...literally bread and butter.Not just writers but also,actors and actresses too.

It is tough to keep the quality of the drama if you asked to write something.. I read an iv of Faiza in which she said that she was asked by a producer to write about something in particular. This means that writers don't use their own creativity. They are writers in demand.😲

That explains beds...because Faiza used to write way better than that! They definitely asked her to write that particular script only.

I think Umera and Farhat are moving towards web series now, and I can see why.

Yup cause ZEE5 and etc don't require dragging. Ek Jhooti Love Story would have been stretched to 29-35 episodes if it was on a TV channel

episode was very good..i like element of suspence.

I also liked few things they hinted at..why is daughter shaki as she has seen her mother cheated by their father, so it is understandable..

I also feel they showed how a person can make a mistake years ago and then suffer consequences...be it the mother who had ran away with her husband and is now being abused by him(I assume she ran with him ,who knows may be he was taunting about some one else).Zeba also made mistake of going to a abandoned place in middle of night ,it is unsafe everywhere

Also I feel older abusers are a big part of society, and I am glad they are tackling the issue. At this time it seems promising. I don't like Zara as I don't like Bushra and her family lol..but I will watch it if story stays good..
