Which of these mega directors do you think has best cinematic craft?

Which director has the best understanding of the cinematic medium acc. to you and displays the best cinematic craft?

All of them are big in their own right and have made some of the biggest hits. But as far as craft is concerned, who owns it best?

I am assuming you don't mean technically.

As a storyteller, no one in this list beats Raju Hirani.

So you focus's on filmmaking more than making a film to appease people.

I don't know who voted for Karan Johar but his skills are best suited for creating reality shows like Love Island. He should try it.

All these directors usually do such different genres that it is difficult to say who is better at their craft.

My personal favorite is SLB but I look forward for the work done by all these directors- may be a little less of AdityaC!

Oh yeah that’s right the list is incomplete without her. Loved all the 4 movies(that I know of) by her.
