Re: Kaadha scene....so even though there was lots of subtext in the way he gave her his jootha half-glass to drink and the fact that he himself came to give it to her.....I still didn't like that he repeated the lines that Malini had said to him back to Imlie....it jarred and felt kinda weird to be honest...I'm talking about that har kadvi cheez buri nahin hoti waali.....Malini said it to him first, right? Nahi re i went back and checked malini didn't say thay she said dawai kadwi hoti hai but i guess in a way context is same so yeah i honestly didn't get the attempt.at romance after hearing her sneezing but i zoned that whole part out completely but yeah this was choppy more towards the end too with malini giving ajeeb se reactions while praying for them to be fine.. but yes jarring tha
Kabhi kabhi aisa feel aata hai that he gets bullied by Malini and then he goes and bullies Imlie in turn....lol....that is what this kaadha scene felt like....Malini bullied him into having the kaadha, so he then in turn went and intimidated Imlie into having it.....dono taraf se baat fikar and concern ki hi thi, but the whole chain reaction made it slightly odd.
Nidhi pointed out how Adi successfully scares Imlie into agreeing to anything....even drinking a kaadha she hates. Malini is still subtly taunting Adi about the fact that he doesn't trust her.....lol....is the issue still that he doesn't trust her to look after Imlie or that he only trusts himself to look after Imlie now? It's not very clear. And Malini looking disturbed seeing both of them sneezing again just felt like a random moment rather than showing any continuity in her suspicions.
More this he only trusts himself caz she is his zimmedari and noone else's they both noticed her sneezing and instead of leaving it on the other both decided to.take care but adi went the extra mile in ensuring she gets the same treatment as him even though thr ladies.alwaya did the job.. adi babu bas amlpni zimmedari nibha rahe thay LOL maybe he really does think ke malini would ignore imlie in her adi obsession
The revelation of Adi's room ban for Imlie seemed to bring out a lot of self-loathing in Adi....the way he said that he didn't like at at that time and didn't want to see her face, that is why he put that restriction in place. I also wished that the last scene had been allowed to play out all in this epi.....but I guess they will switch it to the family showing up in the end that is why they split it into two epis. But I agree with everything else you pointed out vis a vis the softness....the little half chuckle from Adi when Imlie made goofy side comment in the middle of her rant.....and her also consumed by the fact that her blunder led to everyone getting upset and him getting scolded (Waise he deserves that scolding Imlie...itna mahaan mat bano :P).
I guess Malini is going to pull Adi's ear for this thing only as shown in the BTS and then sab V-day stuff mein transition kar denge😆
