Frustration comes out I understand, but when it comes out people disrespect you

She has now stopped caring

Because she knows one way or the other she is on her own and will get insults and humiliations whatever she does.

I am not trying to justify her outburst.

All I am trying is to understand where she is coming from to react the way she did

But by hurting her hand and threatening to lock her, interfering in her personal matter as well as saying ehsaan faramosh, made her angry. His family got a chance to talk more and now she had to speak up.

Yes, she didn't have to talk about Pakhi, but Pakhi how easily questioned her character in presence of asking Virat to stop fighting. Why should she not do that?

Sai's outburst is outcome of months of injustice she has been facing. From the moment she was introduced as Virat's wife - all she has bore is humiliation, disrespect from everyone excluding aai, Shivanibua and Devitai Yes even Virat has failed her.

Virat has always seen her as his zimmedari. He has never truly introduce Sai as his wife. Be it at Sai's college with dean or with the little girl at the hospital or at the time Sai was lost on the street of Nagpur. It was Sai who had mention Virat was her pati. Did Virat enjoy hearing her say "pati" yes he does - but he has never clearly said with haq to anyone that Sai is his patni. only during their heated arguments he had mentioned this to her.

Even when Sai had asked why he wanted her to join him on Ladakha trip, he first said because she was his zimmedari. Later he corrected to "kyoki muje aacha lagega". Sai really wanted to hear - 'kyuki tum meri biwi ho aur main chanta hu ki tum saath chalo"

Sai has been made to feel like an unwanted boj that Virat has no choice but to take care of until she becomes a doctor. He has not once (min the Mohit incident) told Pakhi of for her constant interference. Pakhi's mis conduct towards Sai, her constant jabs of insults at Sai. Woh bas kutch nahi bolta. and the moment Sai opens her mouth to say something Virat zips her mouth up "Sai!! Pakhi ke liye kutch nahi bolo".

What is a person to understand here? What would you do if you were in place of Sai? How long before we lose our patiences? Keep in mind Sai is only 19 - who has lost her father. She has actually seen her father taking a bullet. I am so surprised that she did not develop PDSD given the situation she has been through - seeing her aaba get shot, being kidnaped, not ever getting the love of a mother, being mentally harassed. I feel that the creative are falling short here.

I would love to see Sai getting nightmare about the past events and Virat witnessing her anguish during her nightmares (I know this sounds sadist but this will make Virat realize the pain Sai is hiding. She has created a "strong" woman image and is doing her best to keep her self together.

Today's outburst from her point of view was justified. Remember until recently she had no one to share her sorrows with in this crazy family or even outside.

Pakhi take her frustration out on her aai-baba, Neha and now Virat.

She has a place to go if things get ugly here (she has threatened Virat she will go back to her parents if she is insulted). Who does Sai have? Virat and everyone in CM very well knows Sai has no-one. Does that give them a free pass to treat her like a doormat?

I understand that the way she spoke came across rude but she was a ticking volcano that had to erupted at some point.

p.s. I have not even mentioned the name calling the family does to Sai and Virat has made 0% effort to correct his "dil-se-aachi" family. This clearly shows he does not mind his family degrading his wife.

If he wants Sai to respect the elders - he needs to set the same expectations from his so called family to give respect to Sai.

Respect needs to be EARNED - regardless the age!! Elders cannot just demand respect under the "elder" disguise and continue to insult the young.

p.s.s I cannot wait for Samrat to come back. Samrat, cured Devitai, Pulkitjiju, Mohit, aai and Shivani bua and Sai needs to unit. This will be a very strong team!!
