I did try posting on Wattpad but there the reception is even poorer than here.

The thing is, my fic is related to a show, even if tangentially so. And I have seen people post fics here like P & P adaptation, and Ramayana adaptation that have readership, so that gave me some hope that although my fic is not directly related to TV characters, it might be of some interest to readers. Plus, I thought I'd start by posting here since at least some people on here know that I'm a writer and have read my previous works. On a new platform, it can be hard to gain readership, as I'm noticing with Wattpad.

Making a book - I don't even know how to go about that. I will look into it. Then again, the same problem. Only my regular readers who have sampled my work will think of reading the book. LIL had some faithful readers, and I was hoping this fic would entice them into reading, but they all seem to have disappeared from the face of the earth, or at least from the face of social media! And the ones that are still around don't seem interested enough.

In the last update, Sara bared her heart to Ryan, so I thought it was only fitting that Ryan should return the favor! 😃

I wasn't exactly sure when I would reveal Ryan's past and his phobia, but as it turned out this update with the break-in was the perfect opportunity.

True, you have been very patient and persistent. But at the same time, all you were required to do is post a couple of lines. I write pages and pages of chapters all for others to do nothing but read and like and perhaps leave a comment. It’s disheartening when no one does because a writer needs the validation.

Yes....infact you were not there after you released the story....whenever I mentioned or named it as one of the top FFs, there were so many readers hoping for you to come back....

Thank you, yes Lost in Love was very popular and I had a lot of readers begging me to continue even then. I guess I took too long a break 😒

Do you think the chapters are too long? Should I make them shorter?

I'm thinking of changing the format of the FF a bit.

No...no....it is not your fault.....the KTLK forum attracted cream audience....I don't say good or bad but all kinds of people....I just glanced a few forum where I didn't get this kind of feel.....all those people left now....

I know what you mean. Even for my FF the kind of insightful comments I used to get, the discussions and debates- I felt truly very fulfilled I can tell you that!

Perhaps it was because of the legacy of KTLK since it was inspired from Dhoop Kinare and only a certain kind of audience watched DK which itself was a very classy, understated drama .

No...only when the chapter is long...it is interesting...

Regarding story...Suvika converted all her stories into books....how she did it not sure

All her books are on Amazon....not sure if you are aware of that...

No did not know that. Actually wasn’t following any of the writers on the forum so no idea about the other stories.

About the chapters, I’ll consider. Just thought of making it easier on myself by making shorter chapters and then finishing off the story soon.

I’m doing a lot of reading these days. Helps to pick up on writing styles and correcting myself when I go wrong. In addition to beta reading it’s keeping me busy!
