what sai said is absolutely true. virat did hide his love behind his friendship. as soon as he got to know that pakhi is marrying samrat, his love converted to best friend. even when pakhi left the house, he said pyaar and corrected to dosti. it is only recently that he has started seeing her as only friend. but how would sai know? pakhi walks into their room as and when she wishes and virat never stopped her. that makes sai think virat gives pakhi right over him. even when sai said that the room is not their’s or his home and family is not hers he never clarified.

she was always made to feel like third wheel between them. but i am glad that this fight happened. virat now knows what sai feels about him and pakhi, so now he can maintain his distance and clarify things to sai.

even sai always reminds him about the deal. she should stop doing that and bringing pakhi into their every conversation. it irritates virat to no end and make him angry. both of them know how to push each others buttons. but i think that is the beauty of their relationship. they can truly only be themselves with each other- raw, vulnerable.

She knows about virat-pakhi love, she knows pakhi loves virat and uses friendship as an excuse to keep close to him, virat has on many occasions said or done something that directly gives sai the impression he still has the same feelings for pakhi and has not moved on. Remember how she heard Virat talking to Sunny on the day Pakhi left home. She thinks he needs Pakhi in front of her to be ok. And Virat has only evaded the question, which does not help in clearing her understanding.

Everytime she starts to believe that there may be something more between them something happens and makes her believe otherwise. Pakhi's incensed reaction at Sai coming on the trip helped build up that assumption as well.

I understand what Neil is saying. There have been moments between these two where it shows they have feelings for each other even though they haven't confessed yet. Seems like Sai comes to know about these things as someone rubs it in her face and she is taking out her anger and frustration on Virat. It makes it seem like they are back to square one. And it kind of devalues all those moments they spent with each other and grew on each other like hand holding where Virat doesn't let her hand go, where he tells Sai that "use achchha lagega" and finally being able to tell in front of whole family that she is looking beautiful. They have grown. The have come close. And when Sai mentions Pakhi, it hurts Virat as it kind of devalues all those moments.
