Because to shave off a bridge while doing a polypectomy takes quite some doing. It ain't a minor thing.

And yeah... the nose thing stands out because it is too obvious a lie for a situation which didn't call for a lie.

Anyways I think people put too much emphasis on this nose thing. Priyanka had a issue early in her life and because of that had to get corrective surgery over and over again. Despite all the scrutiny for that and many other things Priyanka didn’t let anything stop her and her success.

I think the issue people have with her is hypocrisy. Why bring her this nose issue if you are not going the be fully transparent. And what’s the point of a memoir if you miss huge chunks of your life because they make you uncomfortable. It just feels like self promotion rather than a genuine piece.

It’s her memoir, she’ll write it how she wants. It’s up to you if you want to read it or not. There’s nothing hypocritical about it nor does she owe anyone anything.

People are also free to offer their opinion on her hypocrisy just as they would for any other actor. People do not owe her anything. If people spot an obvious lie, they will be free to point it out. True for anyone who put his/her work out there.

It is a memoir even if you leave things out. Lies make it fiction. Nose thing is so small you end up wondering why she bothered to do it.

So she either let an incompetent butcher continue operating on others who might not have the resources for corrective surgeries as she does--this in spite of her parents being doctors who should know better--or she is lying and cannot name him because... yeah, libel.

He should have been named regardless whether it was polyps or cosmetic since it seems to have been a seriously botched surgery. Your nose shouldn't collapse from a nose job and require a bunch of other surgeries to give back a bridge.
