CHAPTER 28

"MOTI... when did you come back from India? even you didn't call me, I would have sent the driver to pick you up from the airport." Jodha said when she saw Moti at the door, Moti went to India for a few days and just arrived from the airport.

"you take a rest... I going to for my pregnancy check-up, after that, we will talk..ok."

Jalal was so shocked when he heard the truth from Mirza, Jalal met surya and beat him up. then Jalal went to moti how as he wants to tell jodha by asking where she is to moti, it turns out that moti was gone (to Singapore) at that time. surya accidentally met Moti, who just came to India from Singapore, after telling the truth, he asks moti to bring him to jodha, Moti brought surya to meet Jodha.

"dad.. please take me to my husband ... he needs me .." begged jodha in tears. Raj was unable to refuse his daughter's request, so the four of them headed to Hospital to see Jalal.

"JODHA..." whispered Hamida in surprise when she saw her daughter-in-law standing in front of her. immediately she hugs jodha in happiness.

"Mom.. I'm sorry. i went away without saying anything.. forgive me.." said Jodha in tears.

"No beta ... it's not your fault...." hamida stop talking when her eyes fell on jodha's baby bump and look at jodha in surprise.

"ji (humayun)... we are going to be grandparents.." screamed Hamida in happiness. Jodha smile looking at hamida.

"oh ... my son going to be a father.,.. jodha go and meet your husband, beta... he will be happy to meet you." said humayun.

jodha entered jalal's room, her heart beating fast, jodha was so shocked when she saw the figure of her husband lying weakly helpless with many wires attached to his body which looked thinner. Jodha slowly approached Jalal, she couldn't hold back her tears jodha touched his hand.

"jalal..please forgive me .." said jodha softly in her tears. She kissed jalal's hand with love and deep longing, which without realizing that she made jalal wake up from his sleep. Jalal was so surprised when he saw jodha who was kissing his hand.

"hey ... village girl ... my lips also want to get a kiss like that." said jalal surprising jodha. immediately jodha hugs him and cried.

"jalaaal ... I'm sorry.."

"Why did you take so long to see me? Did you wait for me to die first before you came?" said jalal which makes jodha cry even louder. "hey ... don't be so loud you disturb other patients, be quiet"

"Please Forgive me..."

" i will forgive you with one condition.."

"You're going to be a FATHER.," said jodha whispered in jalal's ear. Jalal was unable to say anything he hugs jodha and cried.

"are you happy?" asked jodha softly, Jalal just nodded his head quickly in tears answering jodha's question. "if you are happy why are you crying ... hey ... your crying can disturb other patients." tease jodha while wiping jalal's tears.

"Are you trying to get your revenge on me."

"You deserve to be repaid..." they cried happily together, jalal's hand never left Jodha's belly, and for the first time jalal felt the first kick from his little angel ...

"jalal do you love me ...?" asked jodha suddenly.

"Why do you ask like that? You know very well that I really love you ..."

"Thank you ... if you really love me will you promise to always be by my side and support all what I do?" asked jodha

"Of course I will always be by your side and support whatever you will do sweetheart ..."

"promise???" asked jodha while showing her pinky finger to jalal.

When jalal falls asleep jodha leaves jalal in the care of her in-laws to see the doctor who treats jalal. jodha wants to know for sure how jalal's condition is right now.

"Excuse me Doctor, I am Jodha, Mr.Jalal's wife." said jodha to dr. henry.

"Please sit down, Mrs jalal. Is there anything I can help you with?" asked Dr. henry.

"I want to know how my husband is and what action must be taken."

"uhm .. like this Mrs.Jalal ... your husband's current condition according to the medical is in an alarming condition. Mr. Jalal must immediately get a kidney transplant to save his life .. we have included Mr. Jalal's name in the list of patients who need donor soon, but sadly we haven't got one yet," explained Dr. henry who made Jodha shocked.

"What percentage of my husband is able to survive until he gets a donor, doctor?" asked jodha worriedly.

"55% but if Mr.Jalal gets a donor immediately in these weeks, then Mr.Jalal's chances of surviving is much greater ..."

"I understand doctor... thanks for the explanation .. I'll excuse me first." said jodha in tears.

"Pull yourself together Mrs. jalal, your husband needs you by his side." said Dr. henry sympathetically.

As a doctor Jodha knows exactly how jalal is right now. There is no other way but to get a donor immediately to save her husband's life. Jodha returned to Jalal's room and saw her husband was fast asleep because of the influence of the medicine, Jodha came closer to Jalal's side and caressed his face slowly.

"I don't want to lose you again jalal ... I will do anything to save you even if it will make you angry with me .." jodha thought in tears.

Raj looked so tense with his face holding his anger with jodha who was sobbing, maan and moti also looked so tense.

"Are you crazy jodha!?!?!" shouted Raj to jodha. "What are you going to do can put your life and my grandchild at risk Jodha ... !!!" growled Raj.

"But dad ... this is the only way to save jalal, dad ... your grandchild's dad.." replied jodha in sobs.

"listen jodha ... i won't let you do that reckless act."

Jodha was thinking about jalal in her room, actually tonight she wants to take care of jalal in the hospital but seeing the condition of jodha who is heavily pregnant and her father-in-law doesn't allow her, with a heavy heart she leaves jalal in the care of her in-laws and maan.

"Forgive me my baby... I have to take this action to save your dad's life, I'm sorry, baby. " said jodha while caressing her bump.

That morning before jodha met jalal, jodha came to Dr. henry, jodha talked to Dr.henry that she want to the donor for jalal, Dr. henry was surprised and did not agree to take actions that put risks to the mother and baby. After a pretty tough discussion, finally Dr. henry wanted to take a medical test on jodha after jodha signed the agreement that she was fully responsible for the actions she took and would not sue any party if something bad happened to her or her baby.

finally starting tomorrow jodha will conduct a series of tests to find out the condition of jodha. By deciding to become a donor for jalal it means that jodha has to give birth earlier than the doctor's calculation or in other words premature. Jodha had to give birth at 8 months of pregnancy. a month earlier than normal births in general, this is what Raj worried about because his grandchild is still too young to bear this heavy burden, but Raj keeps praying that God will protect his daughter, grandchild, and son-in-law. jalal and his parents didn't know about this, because if they did then it was certain they would reject it.

"good morning my love ... how are you?" said jodha while kissing jalal's lips lightly.

"Not so good without you by my side. Sweetheart .." Jalal replied weakly.

"did you had your breakfast ??" jalal just shakes his head in no. "then let me feed you" jodha feeds jalal even though he doesn't seem to have an appetite he ate his breakfast as he doesn't want to make jodha sad.

"jalal... sorry maybe for the last few days I can't accompany you at the hospital because the doctor told me to take a complete rest because my bump is getting bigger," said jodha.

"I understand .. even though later I will really miss you but for the sake of your health and our baby I am willing to hold back my longing for you." replied jalal.

"thank you for your understanding jalal ..." They also looked at each other lovingly as if they didn't want to be apart for a second. And that night Jodha insisted to accompany jalal she didn't want to be away from jalal. Jodha slept in jalal's arm on the hospital bed, they slept together, jalal hugged jodha possessively with his other hand not free from her bump as if jalal also wanted to give his little angel a warm hug.
