Mithai is a sweet seller whose only dream is to open sweet shop. Siddhartha is grand son of Modak family running sweet business for 3 generations. Siddhartha doesn't gel with family lives life his way due to his childhood trauma of mom passing away. He is very attached to his grand father. Sid hates sweets.

Mithai is a very fresh concept for Zee Bangla audience. I am glad its competing very well with Mohor. I always like to watch its promos. The ML is actually played by a bengali film actor who is doing television for the very first time. Seems like Zee Bangla is finally getting rid of regressive shows and focussed in bringing urban concepts for a good change.
