Bangla shows I started watching recently wanted break seeing so many remakes coming up so picked new shows where both leads are strong. Mithai it's more like tom jerry fight bw leads but their emotional symbolic scenes are are done so well. DM is serious concept with too many villian let's see how long I will be able to watch it.

I have not seen Sreemoyee but yes marathi version is realistic while hindi is too dramatic OTT which works well for audience.

Mithai in debut week only toppled mohor to become slot leader but niw drastically fell behind mohor .....any reason?

If they turn dangal into pay channel then they will go into losses as star utsav evn with repeated content gets better subscription and high reach thanks to its parent network disney-star but thats not case with dangal....most ppl are watching dangal only bcz it is on dd freedish but if they turn it into only pay channel then they will loose large chunk of free dish users

Alif Laila too ran on high graphics. You may know the kind of graphics Triangle shows have. It's owner once said that a costume drama needs at least 300 people crew while a normal show can be made with just 60 people crew. Devi returned but ended in just a month so they surely shortened their show. Yes that's another problem of Dangal that they will lose viewers if they make it pay. But I said this because a channel like Epic too charges Rs. 2 thay also from start. Don't know Ishaara TV will be paid or free.

Mohor had highpoint of male lead getting heart attack something never done before twist so not surprised with the jump.

Mithai on other hand had less of lead scenes more focus on family drama. The main story starts post wedding. I absolutely loved the way they did Mithai doing rituals with Siddhartha (with whom her wedding was fixed by latter mom)

Wedding track always works. However what makers need to understand is audience wants to see lead scenes with family and each other not with best friend who is in love with him.

Mithai is a sweet seller whose only dream is to open sweet shop. Siddhartha is grand son of Modak family running sweet business for 3 generations. Siddhartha doesn't gel with family lives life his way due to his childhood trauma of mom passing away. He is very attached to his grand father. Sid hates sweets.

Siddhartha and Mithai mom were frds. Former mom selected her as Sid bride. It was secret bw frds. Fate ends up bringing Mithai to Modak house. Sid doesn't believe in love marriage seeing how his mom was treated by his dad. He hates his dad calls him Sir.

Siddhartha and Mithai end up marrying each other. Post that starts their journey of falling in love and she taking family business to new heights.
