But this formula is sadly tonning down the original creativity and shows are becoming much predictable. Every single new show of Starplus or Starbharat is a remake of regional star channels. Like what example are they setting up by remaking shows on a large amount. Atleast there should be 2-3 weekly fiction finite shows that are original.

Ikr. Atleast Star Bharat can bring good relatable original stories. Star India had became so very lazy that they aren't even revamping the channel. I hope that Shakuntala Telefilms show doesn't launch in Star Bharat but in a new Star Channel.

Aree bhai star ka koi new channel hi nhi aaraha toh shakuntalam ka new show usoe kese aayega ??

It's all about trp and making profits. It's race to be no.1 and for that they decided to go for easy route.

Seeing star colors are also making remake of popular marathi show.

Remake can either work or fall flat on face. Atleast ph have story to show don't have to work much on that.

With so much OTT drama in hindi I have moved regional shows that are new not remake.

Zee tv show apna time bhi aayega is also remake of one telugu show

Star india's is only driving on the back of star jalsha.....now star jalsha is like main channel of star india.....on every star channel there is atleast one remake of star jalsha show

Then why to shelve a show from between and hurt the show team and viewers? 90% to kuch jyaada hua kyunki ki ab urban bhi dekhte hai. GRP you mean gross viewership? I agree with you but kisi top rating show ko aise band karna galat tha jiska rating 1.0 tha. Pyaar Ki Lukka Chuppi aur Crime Alert ko 0.7 se neeche humesha milta tha vo kyu continue karne diye. Isse yahi pata chalya hai ki baat kuch aur bhi thi. Ab kaunsa jyaada ratings aur GRP mil raha hai unhe? Look at the ratings from pre-lockdown even GRPs? Tab Dangal ka jyaada tha. Jyaada difference nahi hai kyunki Star Bharat ke shows ka itna kam ratings nahi aata tha tab.
