Yes, and he’s front and center. Your theory sounds interesting. I don’t even wanna say, “ let’s see,” as I’m really fed up with Shakti. And I said it before, he should move on. Well the ratings finally took a hit....1.5 Throwing Heer off the cliff didn’t even make ppl curious. 👏👏👏👏 I think next week will be lower. Colors shows are in the dumps. CS did so much and decreased too. They might soon pull the plug on . IMMJ. The recent episodes are hard to watch, much less with parents.😳😳

And our leads are not even promoting the show, the side/new characters are doing more than them. Two days ago, that controversial reporter guy Anil Merani tweeted the below.

“Off late none of the new on-screen tv, couples have sizzled the small screen with great chem. This bonding is an essential ingredient to make fans connect with the content.”

I agree with him. Most fans don’t want them to be besties but come on man...show us you’re cordial with each other. But they’re behaving like they’ve arrived. Smh.

we’ve had some fantastic tv jodis in the past...kaira or shivin from yrkkh are still a craze..and Neil,and Avni from Naamkaran are still loved so much..lol...both these couples seemed to have an off screen romance going as well although they all denied it,..but anyway the screen used to sizzle during their romantic scenes ..chemistry was so intense,.but even recently,.in shows like Bepanah pyaar, silsila season 2...the lead couples chemistry were amazing and people loved them..even though these shows did not run as long as shakti...and these actors were just friendly off screen ,.they weren’t real life couples...but jigyasa and Simba dont hang out together but they do like each other’s Instagram posts..so they are probably friendly as colleagues.. And there were one or two imagination or dream scenes ...sadly our ViHeer haven’t had many romantic scenes .. So these writers believe if you’re born intersex ,.you don’t deserve romance In your life as well 😡

I think chemistry is a very strange thing that can't be explained. Sometimes it just doesn't happen even if the actors are best friends or are dating in real life. And sometimes the actors can't stand each other and yet the chemistry on screen is good. The actor Nakuul Mehta from "Ishqbaaaz" has a show on YouTube in which he is making fun of the TV industry. His character hates his female co-star. When the camera is off, all they do is to argue about whose role is more important showing they are all about their own egos and nothing more. One night he gets drunk and posts a video on SM about how much he hates his co-star and makes fun off people who gave them the award for "The Best couple". The show is called "I Don’t Watch TV" and has four episodes. It is a satire and kind of hard to digest because of what it shows that it may happen behind the camera. Other known actors from TV shows appear in it as well.

Coming back to Shakti, to me the main problem is the script. It looks forced, doesn't flow naturally, therefore I don't forget that I am watching a show and the actors are just pretending. So, there is no room for chemistry when you know that they are acting.

But Heer loves Virat, so she shouldn't even get too familiar with the other guy... only that is not impossible. Colors did this a couple of times. In Balika Vadhu the husband died and the story focused on mother-daughter. In Udaan they killed the husband and later brought the actor back playing another character. So, yes, it can happen 😢.

I agree with you. It has to do with acting and script. But I find that if a Jodi were friends and then had a falling out, it spoils the show. Don’t know why I feel this is the case with J n S. I’ve watched it happened in KZK. Actors refused to to be in the same frame, producers were forced to bring in parallel leads n ultimately, the show went off air. To me, this is exactly what is playing out in Shakti. 😭😭

I’ve never watched the shows you mentioned above. 😎My first Indian serial was Pavitra Rishta...I was like 15. I lovedddddd Manav and Archana. From day 1, they had sizzling chemistry and they weren’t even dating then, but they were fab actors and the script was amazing The only Jodi I really liked of recent was Jigyasa n Summit in Nazar ( they had great chemistry for a short period) n Puneett n Riya from Naati Pinky.

@ bold- when this happened? If I remember, he used to push her away in the beginning...before they became friends. For me, those were their best scenes n after he discovered she was a Kinnar, minus Jharna. I liked their love/hate relationship. Post marriage, Preeto and Harak Singh had more chemistry and love than them. Actually, today’s scenes between Akshay and Heer were pretty good. He was angry and we had glimpses of the no-nonsense Heer. Also, the actress Kaveri posted a snap talking about her new journey in Shakti as Isha. Maybe, they’re here to say. 🤷‍♀️

So there’s so much to Heers story..and yes ..I also hope that she and Virat stay together.. Virat accepted her as a kinnar long ago ..so I hope she understands and accepts him back into her life., As for her in laws ..I think their acceptance is not important,..they are too superficial and narrow minded...Parmeet talks about her status and reputation in society,.yet she’s willing to do crimes like a thug and criminal, So she’s a fake..it’s hard to reform people like virats family..🤷🏻‍♀️
