Keep up the good work, Kalma18!

The rain scene reminded me of Kalma's actual rain sequence on the show back in 2019.

Sehban and Reem do passionate/emotionally heavy scenes so well together that it's a shame CVs can't focus more on their relationship.

Thank god we have many talented FF writers here on IF, though!

Awwwwww that's so sweet of Riya ❤️💐 thank you so much for the compliment...I m so glad you liked it 💖 really means a lot 😊

Ikr Reem and Sehban have a natural chemistry...their expressions are soo believable when they are together... honestly it's a shame that the cvs don't use Sehreem's chemistry enough on the show...

Chapter 1 - Victorious

It was a day of justice, the truth had prevailed. The prosecution had vanquished the defence, the perpetrator had gotten what he had coming and the family of the victim could finally breathe a sigh of relief. After months of hearings, Swara’s trial had finally come to an end. The verdict was out and was a favourable one. The judge had issued a sentence of life imprisonment without parole to Vivek.

Oh! How the mighty have fallen today, the universe always operates in mysterious ways to restore balance in nature. This was the beginning of the end for Aaosaheb. Karma is a boomerang -- what goes around has to come around. One might do things thinking that the odds are in their favour but they can never predict what’s to come next. That is exactly what was happening with Aaosaheb today. She had written entries into Swara’s journal to get back at Kalyani and Anupriya for supporting the Ranes. But what she failed to notice was that her own doing was going to be used as the final nail in her own son’s coffin. Sarthak who was prosecuting Swara’s case, had exhibited the same diary as an inculpatory evidence to prove Vivek’s guilt. According to the journal, Anupriya was aware of the domestic abuse that Swara was suffering at the hands of her husband, Vivek. Even if that was true, the first thing it actually does is incriminate Vivek because there has to be a crime to know about it in the first place. And the journal did exactly that. Never in a million years had Aaosaheb thought that her own plot would backfire on her son. Nevertheless, Aaosaheb was the kind of woman who only knew how to look out for herself. She was feeling guilty on her actions but never revealed the truth either because her owning up to it now would neither free Vivek nor hurt Kalyani and Anupriya. So she continued to shed crocodile tears for Vivek while thinking about what to do next.

On the other hand, Malhar and Sarthak were sharing a bittersweet moment with each other. They both knew that this verdict would not bring back their beloved Swara but at least it was the first step in honouring her memory. Kalyani and Anupriya as well were closely following the trial and were relieved that Vivek was finally behind bars. While this gave justice to Swara, they still had to unravel the mystery of the journal entries to vindicate themselves.

Aaosaheb is a sly vixen. Once Vivek was taken into custody, she walks up to Anupriya and says that although her son, Vivek, was now rightfully paying for his mistakes, she will not let her daughter, Anupriya, be defamed by the Ranes and will help clear her name. She says it in such a way that Malhar and Sarthak overhear it while gaining Anupriya’s sympathy. Both Malhar and Sarthak ignore her and walk away from there. Anupriya and Kalyani have now learnt not to trust or expect anything from anyone, but respecting Aaosaheb’s age they simply acknowledge her for the sake of maintaining peace in their otherwise turbulent life and all of them head home.

Kalyani and Anupriya both knew that Swara would never have written such things against Anupriya, they now had to find out who was behind doing this. Kalyani’s prime suspect was Avni but she did not have any solid evidence to convict her. So she had been working on the down low, to keep an eye on Avni’s every move. Kalyani was finally able to successfully get a piece of paper with Avni’s writing on it in Hindi so that she can get it evaluated by a handwriting analyst. But much to her dismay, the results indicated that the handwritings were not a match. So the mother and daughter were back to square one again.

At Ahilya Niwas, Sarthak was furiously walking in his room. Although he had ignored Aaosaheb’s snide comments at the court in the morning, he was not able to let it go so easily. It was time for him to settle scores with her.

What is Sarthak up to? how is it going to affect everyone’s life ? is this the start of something new ? Find out more in Chapter 2.

Chapter 25 – Unspoken Words

Kalyani convinced herself that Malhar was only looking out for her like he would have for any other member of their family, so she brushed off her feelings and headed into the factory along with him. Malhar on the other hand was hoping that their time together would help her understand his feelings. But much to his dismay, Kalyani didn’t seem to figure it out.

The factory they were in, looked as though it had not been used in ages. It had a dingy work floor with broken machinery and weaves of cobwebs everywhere. Kalyani and Malhar were both apprehensive about taking cover there but they had no other option, so they just carefully walked around to find a decent place to rest. Malhar had turned on the flashlight in his phone so that Kalyani would feel secure. Kalyani was just inches away from him as she did not want to be left alone in there, even for a moment.

Kalyani coyly said to Malhar, “Malhar ji, this place looks super creepy. Let’s just go back and wait outside. It’s giving me the heebie-jeebies. “Malhar smiled at her innocence and reassured her that everything was fine. Kalyani continued, “Oh my god!! Malhar ji, this is how every horror movie begins. The protagonists are always stuck in an abandoned building when they get attacked by the spirits. I am telling you, we are done for “Malhar was rolling his eyes at her overactive imagination when suddenly, the duo saw two glowing marbles rushing towards them. They were both startled by its speed and shrieked in fear as it approached them. Malhar then directed the flashlight towards it and it turned out to be a stray cat and the duo burst into laughter.

Kalyani playfully remarked, “Was that a scream, I heard? I thought someone wasn’t scared of ghosts” Malhar retorted back, “Scared? Who’s scared? I am not scared, and FYI I wasn’t screaming, I was just trying to scare it away with my voice.” Kalyani sarcastically taunted, “Oh wow!! Malhar ji, you are so brave.” And giggled. Malhar too smiled and shook his head in embarrassment.

As the duo walked around the place, Malhar unknowingly slipped on some machine lubricant and fell on Kalyani who was right behind him. The duo momentarily locked eyes as Malhar was literally on top of her but the sudden movement had made Kalyani twist her ankle, so she cried, “Ahhhhh!!! My ankle.” Malhar quickly got off of Kalyani and helped her up. He said to her, “Are you ok, Kalyani? I am so sorry; I should have been more careful. “Kalyani responded back saying, “Stop beating yourself up, Malhar ji!! It was an accident. I will be fine. Just help me rest my leg somewhere.” By this, Kalyani just meant that she wanted his support to walk but he instead picked her up in his arms, walked further into the factory and gently placed her on the ground when he found a moderately clean place, leaving her stunned by his actions.

Malhar sat down in front of her and began softly massaging her ankle in an attempt to ease her pain. Kalyani was blown away by his care and her mind was flooded with questions – why does he care so much about me? Does Malhar ji feel something for me? Does he see me as something other than his sister-in-law? Why does he affect me so much? – as she leaned on the wall behind her while still gazing at him. After the pain had slightly subsided, she thanked Malhar for taking care of her and requested him to come sit with her. Kalyani wanted to know how he felt about her, but she also knew that Malhar was old school and didn’t want to offend him anyway, so she decided to talk to him another time.

Kalyani and Malhar were now sitting shoulder to shoulder waiting for the rain to stop so that they could head home. Malhar’s phone had now turned off because of the usage and Kalyani’s phone was still without reception. Kalyani expressed her concern about how worried everyone at home would be as they are currently unreachable. Malhar comforted her by saying that at least Sarthak knew that they were together and that he would inform her mother about the same as well, easing Kalyani a little bit.

Malhar had a tendency to catch a cold quickly and the rainwater did exactly that to him. He soon began sneezing, so Kalyani took off his jacket which she had worn and placed it on him and said, “I think you need this more than I do, Malhar ji. “The two of them smiled at each other and awaited the rain to stop as they sat there in the factory.

Back in Ahilya Niwas, Anupriya was furious with Sarthak for letting Malhar pick Kalyani. She gave him an earful for lying to her and supporting his nephew over his wife. He tried to reason with her but failed to do so. Anupriya was growing anxious by the minute, the rain was torrential, Kalyani and Malhar had still not reached home, and their phones were unreachable. Sarthak reassuringly said to her, “I know that you still have your doubts about Malhar, Anupriya and I don’t blame you for having it either but you can’t deny the fact that he loves Kalyani with all his heart. So, don’t worry! Malhar won’t let anything happen to her.” Anupriya calmed down a little bit after hearing him out. She prayed to god for their safety and awaited their arrival.

At that very moment, Sarthak and Anupriya heard a car pull into their driveway. They were relieved thinking that it was their children and rushed outside to greet them.

Who returned home? Was it, Kalyani and Malhar? Will Anupriya reprimand Malhar for going against her wishes? Find out more in Chapter 26

That’s it for today guy. Hope you all liked Chapter 25, please stay tuned for more and as always, I am truly grateful for all your support. Please share your feedback on this chapter, your comments and likes, encourage me to keep going. Take Care and Stay Safe FAM.
