I really miss Sumeet and Rupali's chemistry and really want him as Anuj, also because he can give the very suave NRI vibe (loved him in Bucket List)

However, Hiten Tejwani also suits the part and he will also look a lot like Bengali Anuj with the grey and specs on. Note that Anuj in Bengali version is a hardworking orphan businessman who got rich from scratch. He is sophisticated but not well built and muscular, mainly because he didn't have a loving wife to pamper him with homemade food n protein shake with a chauvinistic mother, and he also misses Anupamaa in his life.

PS, Anuj (Rohit)'s entry scene from Sreemoyee, it could be re-enacted in the group dance Anupamaa is supposed to choreograph.

(The chubby bespectacled lady waving at him is Devika's parallel character and she is not interested in him romantically, she actually ships SreeHit)

Sreemoyee's Anuj (Rohit) entry looks so good, I hope that they do something like this in Anupamaa too. PS: the actor playing Rohit (Anuj) is good-looking, he reminds me of Sameer Sharma, he would've looked so good as Anuj, miss him.

Yes, he is a great actor, his first famous role was opposite Aishwarya in Chokher Bali.

Actually, not just him, all the prime performers in the show right now which are Anupamaa, Anuj, Kavya and to some extent Leela's parallel characters, are all played by famous and established Bengali film actors who do only selective TV work. They have the best lines. In Bengali version, Kavya's character is stronger than Vanraj's, hence a stronger actor doing the role.

in the other versions he returns in the show and in Anu’s life

so we await his arrival in this version

I doubt they’re going to show any Anuj here 🤔 they’ll just keep recycling Vanraj shuttling from Kavya to Anupama 🤦🏻‍♀️Is there even any news of a new entry opposite Anupama? 🤔🤓
