It is important to take their accounts into consideration and accord them the respect they should have gotten long back in history.

The colonialists / imperialists / occupiers have left such scars on every community that they have imposed themselves on. Today we continue to witness the atrocities of occupying forces throughout the world, from Afghanistan to Palestine, from Western Sahara to Syria and Yemen.
