sorry Jaya, just saw this now

- instead of replying with statistics like I am XYZ, have worked in this field for X years, i have an ABC degree etc., I would (and this is probably more an European thing), I would say I am XYZ, I am a no-nonsense/kind-hearted/strong-willed etc. person. So, using more adjectives to describe my personality and not academic and professional credentials. But I am not sure it'll work in every office. in Finance/Accounting kind of interview you could use something like I am a detail-oriented person and believe in completeness and accuracy. That is a safe attribute and can be personal and professional.

- I would (personally) answer this question the same way in any interview I am really invested in. I would say I am a very sincere person and will make sure I do my job with 100 % sincerity without any drama, or need for any extra praise. And more importantly I will have an excellent attitude towards work - I will do what I know without showing off, I will learn what I don't know with sincerity and I will accept whatever mistake I make with humility
